- Hello, Diadem! I have finally reacted to a Rolling Quartz guide! I am excited become a true fan of this band. I learned a lot and thank you to the creator of this guide!

Kind of funny what you said @25:00. I'm waiting for this to happen for at least 2 years, after I found out that several members are Dreamcatcher fans (especially when they were able to release their cover of Good Night on their official album....due to the behind the scenes connections [a little bit can be found in the description of their MV] - normally this is more or less impossible).
I think this would be a perfect match and I have no idea why it takes so long. The last chance to perform together was just ~2 month ago (2023-08-11) when Dreamcatcher and Rolling Quartz were both at JUMF 2023 on the same day. Unfortunately their performance was not directly one after another. Yoohyeon later said that she wanted to see the Rolling Quartz stage but missed it.
As I meet the RQ members end of January and two days later in early February 2024 while they are on tour in Europe I'll ask if there is anything we can do to make this happen (got the ticket upgrade for the CD singing event + photo). 😊
Anyway at least we seem to have regularly collabs with AleXa (one for AleXas song and one pretty great mashup called "PINK DROP"). You might want to check it out as well. I was actually pretty surprised by the first collab but I think this is a win-win-situation for everyone and more groups/companies should be open to this.
AleXa already said she maybe should call RQ again for a rock version of "Juliet"...there are already several versions of that song. At that time RQ was in touring Canada. Let's see if this is actually happening...but AleXa is also quite busy. They all should have their time to rest.
I NEED a RQ/DC collab, so hopefully, something happens eventually. Honestly, even if it's not a song or music-related, I'd love to just see them interact
one sad thing about rock in Korea before 2010, it was super big. Indie groups, idol style bands, regular bands came out on music show all the time but one event broke the image of such groups. There's a video on RUclips explaining its fall but to sum it up, some guys thought it was a good idea to flash the crowd and cameras during the final performance of a pack stage to end the show. they got arrested and stained rock groups for awhile. Its slowly coming back to the mainstream but still some what under ground.
Ohhh wow! It's really a shame that one band managed to ruin an entire genre for a whole country with one egregious act. But I'm happy rock is making a come back in Korea!!!
