Just finished my tab 2-1-2 install, pretty simple, i took my time . I didn’t need to unplug o2 sensors from the side cover, the length was the same. Hardest part was removing front part of stock headpipe, it was really jammed in there. Great video for help amongst others i was following. I added the tab 50 cal/zombies and powervision tune, the bike sounds awesome and a bit of a pickup on hp. Took it for a 100 mile ride on backroads, no issues , no codes. I bought all new clamps for the heat shields, most were rusty and flimsy.

Planning on doing the same to my 2023 Ultra Aniversary soon as the warenty is used long enough that i feel comfortable with the reliabillity of the bike.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I already have a Stage 2 tune. The headpioe without the cat doesn't need to be re tuned. There is really no flow difference from the stock headpipe on the M8 engine. You get more sound and a much cooler ride. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. Thanks for watching and commenting. No difference in fuel economy. I typically get between 38 and 40 mpg...which is the same as I get on my other 2 touring bikes. I tend to runbat higher rpms due to my preferred riding style...so I'm probably losing 2 or so miles per gallon on average. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. Hey man, do you know if the flanges are supposed to have a gap between the engine block and where they tighten down? Mine have about a 1/4 inch gap due to my rear passenger pegs/crash bars. Thank you and great video!!

Great question John. I am running the Harley Stage 2 tune and do not need to make any adjustment. The Harley tune along with the adjustment the ECM does automatically will allow you to run the head pipe without the cat and since I'm using the Harley Tuner, I have no warranty concerns. @cjg431 I haven't noted any loss in low end at all...with the SE8 447 Torque cam the bike really goes. It is loud, but, I wear a full face modular helmet and use a sena headset...so it does bother me. I get compliments on the sound often from random people when I'm out and about. ✌️👊👍

Basically it’s a HD headpipe with the cat removed just remove the cat on the stock pretty much same header shocked they done it with copyrights all involved in the world we live in today
