For those that do not know, when Barry was younger, he was dating his beloved who lived up in Manoa Valley … and my understanding is that this song he wrote for her was something of a proposal. How could any wahine say no? … Always brings tears and in reflecting on the great beauty of this misty sacred valley … and is the message.
