16 Bit SNES (A Link to the Past) cover of The Great Sea from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Feel free to use any of my remixes in your own RUclips videos, just leave a link to the remix and/or my channel in the video description. I have a list of copyright claimed remixes on my channel's "About" section.
There's just something about those oddly-tuned SNES trumpets that I kinda just love
just something about those trumpets make ALL of the soundtracks from games for me. its just. catchy
200th like
@Aleks No not really. They're Roland S550 Brass samples. ruclips.net/video/-D63pLvWmlk/видео.html
Although. Magic is happening soon. I'm being really ominous right now cause i'm making something lol.
yeah
I love them.
Imagine Wind Waker in 2D... with the boat riding Mode 7 style! I can picture it :3
*Rainbows pouring from mouth*.
+Ace in the Hole Haha, yeah.
hey, i'd pay to play that!
I need it
I'd love to see animation that pays attention to the style of ALttP's engine, complete with dialogue pausing.
Heck, the Hurricane Spin from the GBA version would fit in an animation too!
7.8/10 too much water
-IGN
Robert Wise wrong game lol
aultinbarltino still too much water lol
delcamex true dat x)

im crying tears of adventure *insert PBG saying "adventure...yeah"*
I’m here from a pbg video
Curse those memories and treasures
10000 likes!!!
It's hd
god pbg is just one of those youtubers that when you are older you're like "well wow I watched something thats actually good when I was little" and not like some youtubers where its like "I can't believe I actually watched and liked that"
I always come back to this song. The more I listen to this, the more it sounds like something that would fit in perfectly as part of an actual SNES game. One of Bulby's better works imo.
Yes, its in the same soundfont as a link to the past's music.
Reminds me a bit of the Hook game, which had a nice soundtrack.
Oh yeah ~ let's play a link to the past with this music in the background ^^
so sweet ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just beat LTTP It was amazing ^_^
Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game and Wind Waker is probably my favorite 3D Zelda game. Hearing them together sounds awesome.
Adventure yaaaah!
16 bits of oshawott Peebins!
16 bits of oshawott Puhbuhgu!
+16 bits of oshawott eesdesserd
+16 bits of oshawott HOORAY FOR PEEBINS!
lord pebignton will be proud
Alright, done, that's it, you're officially the best guy ever.
Perfect version for an adventure.
No, the best guy ever would be BestGuyEver.
I think this is my very favorite Bulby work. Link to the Past had a very distinct sound with those SNES trumpets and cymbals, and it's incredible to hear Wind Waker in the same style!
16 bit! Now you're talking, man!
Dieser Wind Waker Titel ist so was von Epic!!! Einfach nur nice
I like this. Hearing the part where it drops is so inspiring and hearing it's glory represented in 16 bit makes it even more nostalgic when I used to play when my cousins were over and I would just sail the seas
I'd love to hear more of these 16-bit remixes, they're so good :3
This song nearly made me cry in 128-bit, in 16-bit it's also beautiful as heck.
That's a CPU.
It sounds like something from a 16-bit Final Fantasy game. Great job!
My jaw dropped after the first note! My 16 bit musical productions NEVER have this level of quality lol :)
Can we expect 16-bit remixes more often?
Hopefully. :o
***** Could you do Dr Dre Still Dre 8bit ? pls
Green Pilz what the hell? why
Goombapwn just a idea because had a snoop dog song before
umm ok...>.>
Since I grew up with the SNES, this hits me so hard with nostalgia ;___;
Thank god this was on my recommended
This song goes REALLY well with 16-bit. Excellent job!
I need this on 10 hour loop
www.infinitelooper.com/?v=0iPurc4T-bU
you're welcome
OW GOD THANKS !
Dieser Tracks aus a Link to the past ist so nice
Wind Waker ONLY for Super Nintendo! Now your playing with power. SUPER POWER!
I like how all of the instruments are ever-so-slightly detuned upwards. It makes the song feel brighter and warmer.
The Wind Waker was one unexpected and underrated classic.
This sounds so much like the original its amazing! \o/
I teared up a bit.
0:16 sounds so good idk why
It is so, so rare to see some self-called 16bit music that actually sounds 16 bit...
Thanks a lot for this, mate, I thought I'd die without being able to listen to a videogame track (let alone one of my favorite themes ever) sounding like it were coming out from a SNES.
I love it. You definetly will master 16-bit too.
That soundfont is gorgeous.
This was really cool.
This is so beautiful and reminds me of a nice time, very nice piece!
Please keep making them, you are awesome :)
This sounds too good
1:22 // *本当に美しいです* //
...You know, considering Mode 7, this could've been an actual thing!
could have been even larger than FF6's overworld
I hope some skilled programmer hears my prayers and does this...
xXLethanoXx
It could happen. Ocarina of time 2D is a thing, so who's to say that Wind Waker 2D isn't possible?
Secret of Mana did it with a dragon, and THAT was the SNES, if it can be done with a dragon, it can be done with a boat too. Someone please make a Wind Waker 2D!
***** wouldn't the entire sea take up too much cartridge space?
This reminds me of the Game Grumps Wind Waker Series. I remember the episode when someone said this: "Oh, god, I just remembered we promised we wouldn't start this episode with a shit-ton of sailing..."
This is awesome. Wind Waker and Link to thePast are awesome. Zelda is awesome.
I'm getting this on Wii U soon! Love you BulbaMike!!
Oh my gosh!! You NEED to do some 16-bit DKC: Tropical Freeze music, in the same style as the original SNES trilogy!
Alpine Incline, Wing Ding, Busted Bayou, Snowmad's theme, ughhh that would be awesome.
Oh my god that would be amazing. I hope he does that.
BB5 Productions I think the Snowmad theme would be the best candidate. I love all the music in Tropical Freeze, a remix of any of them would be great, but the Snowmad Theme is the big new theme of the game, that's the one I'd want to hear most!
and dk 64 music
don't you mean Banjo Kazooie music?
I do not know why, but this one is better the original!
I see you were going for an aLttP kind of theme, and it was very well executed! I like it, it sounds straight out of aLttP!
Now you're sailing with power. Super Power!
Wait. This was published 6 years ago? And now I’m finally hearing this? I guess good things come to those who wait.
Beautiful. It sounds like the original is just an orchestrated version of this.
It's rare for me to hear an 8 or 16 bit remix that sounds like it was MEANT to be in that format, well done!
This sounds like something you would hear in final fantasy 6
Claus, you are everywhere... Even apart from Mother/Earthbound related videos, you are everywhere... Hahaha.
***** I know, I just can't stop myself from commenting, I hope its not bothering you.
Claus- Mother 3- It's not, I probably comment at the same rate as you actually.
Jeff Andonuts > Claus... Jk
You know what would be awesome?! Doing an 8 bit remix of the Elite Four theme in Pokemon RSE! I've looked for good 8 bit remixes of this song and they're nowhere to be found. If you do this, you've earned yourself another subscriber!
Wait, you can do 16 bit too?
As someone who does the same thing Bulbamike, except not as well, he can do anything he sets his mind to. The program he uses is incredibly versatile and is only limited when he limits himself for artistic purposes. He could do a full orchestra or obscure consoles nobody even remembers anymore.
Chaotic Marin Huh. Ok then. =D
Chaotic Marin If you do not mind me asking, what is the program you use?
I would like to be able to do my own music.
Ninetales Commander I use FL Studio personally, though I use some other programs to compliment it. I would warn that it has take me roughly 6-7 years to get where I am now and I'm neither as skilled nor as popular as Bulbamike. It's something you really have to *love* doing. Personally, I love it.
According to Bulbamike's Description, that I foolishly checked after asking the question, it seems he uses Logic Pro 9.
Is that better or worse than yours?
I don't know how, I don't know why, but you made this work.
More 16-Bit please! God this is DELICIOUS
once again Bulba, you win at making modern game music retro in the best ways.
*sheds a tear* Its beautiful... it's two sounds of my childhood mixed together. I love ya, sir Bulbamike. *sniff* *Instant sub*
You are a legend, Bulbamike. And this is in time for the upcoming open-world Wii U Zelda game, so thank you very much!
I have so much nostalgia for this song! I remember hearing it when I just started getting into Nintendo for the first time. Takes me back:')
I just stumbled on your channel and was browsing through a few of your remixes. As great as they all were, this composition was the one that swayed me to subscribe.
This sounds really good
My ears,they.....i have so many emotions,*SO GOOD*
Please make more 16 bit remixes! They are awesome!!
a link between islands
A 16-bit adventure... Yeah!
There are always those songs that sound like they were made to be composed on SNES hardware. This is definitely one of them!
This is freakin incredible! I need this on a loop :D
I like what i hear.... I love all the 16 bits stuff!
Just found out about this channel. Will come back for more, most definitely.
this is too good to be true. nice rendition dude
i can totally imagine this title coming out just after a link to the past… this version of the great sea ost is just.. brilliant!!!
I LOVED sailing, with this song, but MAN, did scavenging get OLD after a while...
Truly a beautiful piece of art
My ears!!! My ears have never experienced this type of pleasure!
Butter to my ears, man. This is frickin' sweet.
Love the picture. Great job on the song too!
Wow, truly amazing! It's got a StarFox vibe to it with the horns!
Very 'Earthbound-esque'! I like that!
Kinda funny how when playing the game you really start to hate this song because you hear it so much. Then years after youve played it you look back and its fresh again!
I love your work, you are possibly the best I've seen around.
Wow, this is probably my favourite of yours, probably ahead of You Will Know Our Names. Great job.
I can't stop rocking out to these beautiful tunes!
16 bit doesn't get enough love.
everything 16bit!!!!
wow that sound awesome I can't decide if this better than the actual song or not...
OMG this version sounds even better than the actual song
This sounds like it was mean to be in a 16-bit videogame!
Dude this is freaking amazing, your awesome!!!!!!
This definitely sounds like it would fit in a SNES zelda game!
THIS IS PERFECT!
2nd result for "The great sea remix". Nice job
For one of the few other Super Nintendo/SuFami styled de-mixes you've done, this is much better than Uncharted, that's for sure.
Wow that is frighteningly very accurate
This makes me really want a SNES version on wind waker
Sounds Amazing! (as always) I feel like if wind waker was a SNES game this song would play!
Holy shit, this is really beautiful.
At first i was like eh it doesnt sound all that different
but then 0:14 and i was like WOOOOAH
I could imagine an alternate reality where Nintendo used the SNES FX chip to make a 3D Zelda game. If only Wind Waker was made in the 90's. Sailing on a 3D ocean and visiting 3D islands would be a dream come true for any 90's Nintendo fan!
Though I'm not sure how dungeons would be possible, but Star Fox 2 sort-of pulled it off with the interior areas and the different planets you visit, so who knows.
This sounds amazing!
Setting sail for the sea of adventure through 16 bits!!
Yes!! My favourite game of all time is remastered!!
Demastered.
YEAH ADVENTURE YEAH!
namllort bloxxer Dat PBG reference though.
Is crying inside. So good
Simply astounding! Brilliant work!
I wish the rom-hack The Legend Of Zelda - A Link to the Island will have this track xD
awesome sample
