- When Delney got released I knew I needed to make this deck. This is the year of combat and burn in cEDH and this deck is one of the heralds of the new era! We use our two commanders Ishai and Kediss to beat and burn the table down with a backup breach plan that ensures that we can go off if our opponents focus too hard on our commander.

Cool to see the deck getting some love! I took a similar list to top 16 at ka0s treasure series 8. Love to see some differences here and leaning more on table tax effects too, definitely some cool ideas to think about!

I love Kediss so much. My favourite thing about that little dude is his interaction with damage doubling.
You have a 1/1 commander. You have City On Fire on the board, tripling damage. Your 1/1 hits for 3. Kediss trigger! Share 3 damage! Wait, City on Fire! Everybody else take 9!
Now lets say you have a 7/7 commander...
Now let's say you have 5 copies of kediss on the field. 😈. I have a kediss/Sakashima deck with a bunch of damage doublers. (Along with 8 other kediss decks in paper)

@@scabman1 the only kediss deck I have is an Esior/Kediss deck where my focus is to play every Act of Treason effect to steal somebody's voltron or 4/4 commander, give it evasion and a trample combat tricks, and nuke the table. I've got cards like Font of Magic for easy instant sorcery cost reduction or Crimson Honor Guard for "hey, play your commander, you should play your commander, play it, put it on the board. No? 12 damage." Or the completely uninteractable sac outlet of a suspended Greater Gargadon to feed actual threats to. Livaan, Cultist of Tiamat also goes hard with the theft haste swing strategy, because he doesn't technically specify that his buff has to go to a creature you control. Cast theft, buff, steal, trample +3/+0 trick, table crunch.
I love this stupid deck and this silly little bird and silly little lizard.
@@almond5284 I did this with Bruce, along with all the commander base buffs. That way I can give your commander double strike and lifelink lmao.

@@scabman1 yeah, I've stolen my buddy's Krrik with it once. The Izzet player gaining 24 life in a turn is a play no one is ready for.

You keep bringing up these situations where people are gonna be afraid of using their life as a resource but... you underestimate my greed
Shit, they found the line!
This deck is one of those decks where people are going to think it's a meme, and then realize it does the thing each game and is way less meme than they thought. It feels like better Ishai Jeska imo and I like Kediss a lot more for the partner here.
Also, yeah people might still be greedy anyway, but this will pause people enough to get some loses into potentially winnable matches more than people give it credit for.
Thoughts on Harsh Mentor?
I really wish it did just a bit more damage but I don’t think 2 is enough damage to punish decks like Thrasios or Kinnan until they start going infinite and it’s too late
Wear // Tear doesn’t destroy One Ring but Resculpt can exile it
