The UN security council has removed chemical weapons from Syria AND has allowed cross border assistance? Maybe in theory. In practice, there are strong indicators that the Syrian government, backed by Russian forces, is still using chemical weapons, AND cross border assistance is extremely limited and there are dozens of besieged areas in Syria, some since 2011...
I understand that this video is two and a half years old, but I have working directly on addressing the Syria crisis for the past +5 years and all what I'm saying was already the case then. Before you take to the TEDx stage to "educate and inform" please check your own facts.

No wonder she's getting Criticism and Hate. Whoever speaks the Truth nowadays unfortunately has to fight those 2 things.

the biggest crap i have ever heard. talking about misconceptions on syria but not mentioning assad with one word?! talking about the "real reasons" behind the conflicts in middle east, trying to dismantle "religious conflict" but still not talking about anything else than islam, islamism and radicalism? incredible. and the refugee system does work but it's the fault of the neighbouring countries? very interesting. deeply disappointing, cruelly biased talk.

She doesn't seem to know much about it. Can't see why she feels the need to get up and spout. Maybe she's talking to herself during a workout at the gym? Someone should tell her she's being recorded at a TED Talk ?
Must go now before I throw up.
