Loved the real location shooting. Harkens to days gone of USA industrial strength.

This is truly sad for the US and Europe as well. You just can't compete with the Chinese and their ultra-cheap labor force resulting in much cheaper products.

Why so emotional? It's called progress and we should embrace it. NO ONE is owed a job, ever...you have to earn it and you have to make yourself attractive to employers to get hired.

@@kendallevans4079 Go peddle your so-called progress to the millions of blue collar workers, including coal miners, who are still out of work. You sure have a lot of empathy, pal!

Because Americans wanted the freedom to walk into a Target and purchase a 75 inch HD flatscreen for $550. They didn’t care if came from China assembled by a 16 year old who got a handful of white rice for one days pay.

This is progress. Why are people so nostalgic for the "old days"?
Adapt or die, which is what Phil didn't do.
NO ONE is OWED a job for life, why should they be?

What the fuck is progress? Americans dying of a fentanyl, buying shit from Thai wage slaves?

@kendallevans4079 How old are you? Only someone young or someone older & lucky enough to have a lot of money thinks like that.

You know what else that factory isn't making any more? Millions of tons of carbon dioxide. "There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs."
