As someone who’s bought Betopper products, I gotta say - they’re totally worth it! The quality’s impressive, and for the price, it’s a steal. Really happy with how it performs, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great gear without breaking the bank. Betopper’s got my vote!
Hey Ryland! Great looks! Thanks for sharing. I'm building a "budget minded" rig for some club bands and I appreciate the insight on the budget fixtures. Your other video on the SHEHDS 8x12 moving beams sold me on those. Really cool
The boulder rgb lights have been great for us! We tried the warm white and it did not work as well but we were able to program a warm white that looked good with the rgbw fixtures so we use them for all around. Plan on buying a handful more this year!! They’ve been great for our passion production!
Wow thats a lot of lights! 👀
Appreciate the detail you put into this! Your videos are always super helpful for us! Blessings!
Not sure how it works in the US with power as I'm from Australia but with that many fixtures you should really look at getting some Power Distribution Racks. That way to can even out the draw to multiple circuits. Plus each circuit has its own breaker so you just flick the breaker off to power down your lights. No remotes needed
Nice Job Ryland!
Thank you so much for doing this video! Good luck on your remodel!
Love your content! Curious as to how long your remodel is going to take, and what your approach will be to your Christmas Services this year? inquiring minds want to know!
What are you planning to use for your new key lighting?

Where do you get backgrounds for weekly services?
@@RenewedGraphics mostly ignitermedia.
where did you get the fixture profiles for your shehds light? I recently purchased some wash lights from shehds and i can’t find a fixture profile anywhere for vista
@@aaronnuno2671 I made some and got some from user requests library here www.vistabychromaq.com/fixture-downloads/?pagename=fixture-downloads&folder=%2FCompleted+user+fixture+requests%2FShehds&sortdir=D
I built the fixture profile in vista for the Shehds bars in 11 and 119 channel mode. It’s pretty finicky. For 11ch to get the colors accurate I had to patch a one channel dimmer on ch 1 and I think 5 or 6 channels after (check the patch sheet I forgot the exact number) I patched in a generic RGBWAUV fixture. Turn the dimmer to 100% park it and hide it from the fixture chooser screen.
I had to patch it like this because I was getting pink instead of red and other inaccurate colors. This fixed it.
For 119 ch for individual control of the 18 elements I patched a one channel dimmer on channel one. 10 or 11 channels later I patched 18 consecutive generic RGBWAUV fixtures. Do the same thing with the dimmer and you have individual control of each LED.
If you patch it the way they say it doesn’t let you have control of each element it only controls the full bar.
Other than the fans being insanely loud the fixtures been decent. We had to change out each fan with a quieter computer fan
In 8:05 how high do you think the ceiling has to be for the OPPSK lights to get a good wash on audience? How high is your ceiling?
@@emapleitez these are hanging at about 20 feet. Idk they are VERY wide wash.
Sounds good, looking forward to trying them out. I think it’s amazing how much you can get done and how good the auditorium can look without having to spend so much compared to other products.
How can I eliminate shades
Outstanding walk-through video, thank you for posting in such detail. What (and how many) are you using for main key lighting? I'm guessing that gear is not considered budget?
@@davidmcknight7321 during worship we are really just using the boulder movers for key light that I talked about. During preaching we still use and add in our Source 4 Jr ellipsoidals. Probably 8 of those on top of the 6 boulders.
@@RylandRussellexcellent thank you for that info!
@@RylandRussell Couple of quick followup questions, do you know what degree the lens is on those source 4 (specifically for key lights on the main speaker) (EDIT - I see in another video a label for 26 degrees, don't know if that's stock or your specific fixture) and are there any LED fixtures, budget or otherwise, that you would recommend instead of the source 4 jr? IOW I guess, if you didn't have the S4's would you still seek them out or would you use something LED? Maybe you already have a video discussing "important" key lighting and I haven't seen it yet although I have seen the video on Boulder variable white lights.
Hi! Great video! What do you use to illuminate the preacher? Thanks! 🙌

Great video! Is there any way I can add some height to the thing that holds the camera on the slider?
We use these on our sliders amzn.to/4eKZHCS but you could also use a bowl riser like this amzn.to/3N79uHN
What backgrounds are up on the screen?
@@RenewedGraphics some different ones from igniter that I customized to have a similar size so they would dissolve between each other seamlessly. Then I used this names background and masked out the cross and adjusted colors to match. www.ignitermedia.com/products/78398-the-name-name-wall

What is your lighting controller. I've been thinking of getting a Chamsys Quick10 for our church.

@@RylandRussell no issues on setting up profiles for some of the less expensive lighting fixtures on the Vista.
as someone who uses a qq at my church, i would definitely recommend the 20. the extra cue stack faders that you get make doing advanced things super easy. There are some things that I don't like about the software in general, it has way less customizability than hands, hog, ma, onyx, etc; heck it might even be the simplest lighting software with lightkey following closely.
plys the 20 also gives you 2 5-pin ports and quite a few universes via ethernet.
I would definitely recommend the qq if you need something simple. Programming shows that he uses in his church that you saw at the beginning of the video is extremely hard and time consuming. the qq lineup is *really* only good for busking. other than that its a decent console for small setups and easy to train new people with

Hey thanks for sharing… always love simple, budget friendly options for the church.
@@RylandRussell Man, Owasso always has something under construction lol
@@RylandRussellIf. I might ask, what are the main objectives for the remodeling?
@@robnilsen Hey Rob. I'm on staff with Ryland and was reading through these comments. We're gutting the worship center and starting from scratch pretty much. Adding stadium seating in the back, new stage, LED screen, blacked out ceiling, and redesigning the width of the room. Also, adding on to the front of the church, expanding the lobby, parking lot, and an additional kids ministry building with it's own indoor playground and worship space. Let's just say that Ryland has a lot of future content for his channel!
