Thank you for this, I folowed it an repaired my TV. It was a slightly different model with 3 backlight strips and no rubber clips holsing them in, just adhesive backing, but close enough and now my TV is just like new again. Saved me a lot of money, Backlight was about £25 Many Thanks!

Hi my model is the LG 43UJ670V - ZD,BEKGLJP made in January 2018. Ebay searches show they have 3 LED strips. Is this correct ? Or will I have to open her up to see if she has 2 or 3 strips ? Thanks for the video, it is a great help.

My LG 43UJ670V has 3 LED strips instead of the 2 you are showing. Also the LED light sizes are significantly different from yours. I have cheked the nameplate of my TV and the PRODUCT CODE its exactly the same as yours, only the "surname" changes in one character, being mine "ZD. BEUGLJP" instead of "ZD.BEUYLJP". Could you please say if there can be a same TV model with these 2 variations? This is frustrating now I need to wait another 2 weeks for the new LED strip to arrive 😒

Hello Ryan san, i have replaced the LED as you did but it broke again after 4 times of using it. The bottom part failed first so i replaced all with newer ones. Then now its the upper array. Is there something that is breaking the LEDs or the LEDs i bought was broken?

Hi I followed all of your steps. Checked the backlights when I installed before putting everything back together. Now the red standby light just flashes three times and nothing happens. Any ideas where I could have gone wrong or what the issue might be.
Hi thanks for the advice. I stripped everything again and checked all connections including the led strip connections. Good news. All works perfectly now!! Advice to others.. take just as much care putting everything back together. After each step I plugged in to make sure all was working. I suspect that it was the connection to panel as you said but not sure if one of the led connectors was not on correctly. Either way, it works now, looks great. Thanks so much for this tutorial and quick replies.

Just to let you know I ordered the 2 piece LED strip from Aliexpress and they sent the wrong one 3 strip so I am back to square one, totally astonished.
I have a feeling you forgot to replace the white clips that hold the strips against the chassis, after you had stuck down the new strips; is this due to you having used a non-genuine LG part, and thus it hadn't got the requisite holes for the clips, in the PCB?
the first one is the big filter , the second is like mirror, and the 3 is also like mirror but less then the second one , and the last one you put is the matt filter

yes it's 3 led strips on your model . each strip have 7 leds

change the seller , search the good quality. low cost of led strip = low quality of smd leds.

Blue screen. Put new ones in which worked, then put all back together and standby light flashes three times and nothing.
