As a same sex attracted woman who had good parents, I can say that I have no trauma but i am still SSA even if i dont act on it. Learn from us intead of saying whatever you think as an hetero.
The good Lord has brought me and my husband a same sex attracted neighbor. By providence I have been cooking him dinner once a week and showing him Christs love. I don’t know if he knows if I am a Christian but I pray for him as I make the food. We never know how our Lord is using us to reach the suffering. May the good Lord be with you all ❤

There is no cure or prayers that can change your sexual orientation from being homosexual to heterosexual. People are born either gay, heterosexual or bisexual. Millions of people have prayed to take away their homosexuality over centuries yet they changed nothing. You can still be gay even if you live a celibate life. Many gay men are celibate for a variety of reasons, but they are still gay.
Can Pastor Kade explain how boys who later identify as gay as adults act effiminate and have an effeminate voice as children? Or girls who identify as lesbians as adults act masculine as girls? Methodist Pastor Frank Schaefer has three of his four children who identify as gay as adults. He saw his teenage son who walked without moving his arms while his teenage daughter walked like a truck driver. Schaefer stated that his children were not exposed to homosexuality as children, but he could see signs that they were gay while they grew up. Please explain how society can turn children into being gay when boys and girls acted gay or lesbian as children or teenagers when they never had been exposed to anything related to being gay or lesbian.
I wish it were that easy. I wish all same sex attracted people like myself could simply quote a scripture and the crush go away or love you had for someone of the same sex that you were in love with and built a life with would vanish but it doesn’t work that way for all of us. I have been attracted to women my entire life (from when we start developing romantic feelings.) I can honestly say I had no trauma. What makes it worse is that I have zero desire to be with a man. I don’t hate men at all I just have no romantic feelings. I know in Heaven it won’t matter because sexuality will not exist but here on earth it is very difficult. Not acting on it doesn’t change the butterflies I get around a girl I may like at work or church. Just like some people are not physically healed on this earth I believe the same is true for many of us that are SSA.
Same sex attraction try to repair something that is not sexual at all...and i mean the beloging that is missed with the father or mother and then with the same sex group of peer..in reality is a relational problem..we are afraid to relation our self with the same sex group of people..we are ashamed in relation with the people of our gender..easy meaning..but difficult topic to resolve..
Why are Christians so hung up on this topic? I never hear them mention divorce, something Jesus spoke against. Jesus never mentioned homosexuality once in the bible. Why the fixation?

Attraction doesn’t equal sexuality.
