The good Lord has brought me and my husband a same sex attracted neighbor. By providence I have been cooking him dinner once a week and showing him Christs love. I've definitely put up boundaries and given Him scriptural teaching. He claims he wants to be delivered but continues the work of the flesh. You also have to DENY yourself. You have to change your habits. YOU have to put the work in, or it doesn't work. You have to make the changes. It's not willful sinning. Planning, scheming, lying, and hiding a calculated plan to sin shows a lack of respect for God, yourself, and the people you sin with. It's a strong delusion and leads to a reprobate mind! I say this as a warning in truth and because I love you enough to tell you! Pick up the Word and read it for yourself. Always pray and always turn to Him for answers! So, am I preaching to a reprobate or am I supposed to continue helping him at my expense? Emotionally, I'm so drained but spiritually, I'm closer to God through all of this.
