I am very tired all day everyday. I work a physical demanding job and get 5-7hour of sleep a night. I'm 26 and feel like I'm 80 years old. It take me a lot longer to do things like just going up the stairs. I just kinda stopped going to the gym because as soon as I get home, I have to take a nap
My tips: - don't oversleep. Don't sleep over 9 hours in one go - but rest when you need to. Don't overwork - get out; get enough sunlight. - ease into exercise - have a healthy breakfast early morning (before 9am) - don't stress too much about vitamin intake. Take what you need (check blood) - meditate. Reflect - there's more to life than what we see ❤️

The reason we’re tired all the time is we’re spread so thin as working people that we don’t have the time to truly take care of ourselves: move our bodies enough, eat the proper foods, balance our family lives, etc. The way our society is built has made us fragile and something has to be drastically changed about the way we live our lives.

I would like to share my problem also as I saw everyone is sharing are getting suggestions from others. So here I go- I had my exams just a week ago. In my exam days, I could awak for long time. My exams lasted for 15 days. At the starting I Couldn't awak more but by the end I managed to sleep only 3/4.5 hours and study the rest. But After the exam, I took a day off and slept for long time. And after that day I feel sleepy all the time. All the day. It's hard for me to awak even for 1 hour after I get up from my sleep. This is not the first time. Always this happens with me. Suppose now I am having a good schedule of sleep. But If I sleep more than my regular hours juts one day, Everything changes and after that one day I feel sleepy for all day. What do I do?

I went many times to doctors and just having the answers of "You don't have ...... disease " but no real answer of what is causing this. even I was tested for narcolepsy and I was told I don't have any brain related problems. People normally try to study in a quite room to concentrate but I was studying in noisy public transportation in order to keep me alert. Even the number of books I read in my life are very limited due to inability of concentration.
You know as a kid we use to have nap time and I remember I didn’t care for it that much because when you’re little you have so much energy as what you do when you get older. I remember a long time ago when I was in high school and I was choosing electives. The counselor told me I had to choose one more. So I said how about nap time and yes it wasn’t on there, but hey what’s wrong with a great recommendation! I was partially joking but partially serious about it. I miss nap time😓and kids nowadays don’t understand this. But sleeping is really important. It’s not being “lazy”. Your body needs sleep in order to function and have enough energy the next day.

SING it out loud over and over BUT substitute the chorus for "WHy am i so fucking TIRED ALL THE TIME?" Next, Just simply watch this video. It will make you feel like you only thought you were tired compared to this narcoleptic doctor. I thought he would fall asleep while talking. He can barely keep his eyes open. Best of luck to all you sleep deprived freaks out there. ;)
when depression/ psychotic events are long term and pills fail to treat it - depression/ schizophrenia / chronic fatigue could be down to the instability of head so called craniocervical instability. If you are hypermobile ( check what Beighton scale is) then more than sure your ilness is down to it. The best option is to buy cervical collar . Aspen Vista seems to me be the best. Please ,please check what EDS is and what craniocervical instsbility is. Due to poor oxygen levels ,depression, schizophrenia occurs and pills do not help.

Allergies can also make you feel very tired! I wear a mask outside to prevent breathing more pollen and it doesn't 100% prevent pollen entering (gets on your clothes), but it helps a lot.
Good luck to all of you guys on your day-to-day lives!!
Doctor looks and talks tired but I am happy with information
I'm so tired I fell asleep trying to watch the video...
I always feel heavy eyes, mainly in time from 9 am to 3 pm
Which time is considered as most productive and energetic time
Same I have heavy eyes all the time
Maybe he looks tired because he actually is. I’m sure it’s legit. Long night who knows, but most people are here because they got a good nights sleep and still feel fatigued which is completely different.
yes yes. He is a doctor, they literally work on 2 or 3 hours of sleep more than 5 days a week. They literally are super humans.
People need to realise there is a difference between tiredness and fatigue
When your alarm goes off, wake up at that moment and don't snooze it that seemed to be the cause of mine sleeping whilst studying.
Wow, I didn't know stress could make you feel tired or fatigued. I'm going through a divorce and even though I exercise and eat sensible, I still feel low energy for days!
Anyone else like feel weak or like tired , unmotivated?

The reason we’re tired all the time is we’re spread so thin as working people that we don’t have the time to truly take care of ourselves: move our bodies enough, eat the proper foods, balance our family lives, etc. The way our society is built has made us fragile and something has to be drastically changed about the way we live our lives.
seriously, it needs to change
Thanks for including low blood volume as a cause of fatigue. I feel that doesn't get talked about enough.
I just have to say I think he is right not enough of us are getting enough sunshine aka vitamen D from the sun. I notice when im outside more I have more energy. Im going to have to make it a point to get out more even durring this pandemic. The comments in here are gold by the way made me laugh so hard.
I sit in my house all day and I'm always feeling tired all the time, maybe this is the problem. I rarely get suntime, maybe 30 minutes a week. Guess I'll try and go cycling or just sit in my balcony.
He is a great doctor with amazing knowledge ❤
Seriously! I hope everythings going good for you in the physical dept ! Sweet dreams 😘😘😘

cortisol. cortisol. cortisol
i know it has been a year, just sharing my opinion here ^^ i think its because you sleep late at night, i sleep late at night then i wake up tired and sleepy but feel energitic at night, i think its because your sleeping schedule is messed up
Other reasons may be: chronic fatigue syndrome, narcolepsy, or depression
Great! But what about cortisol and adrenals, toxins, and the gut microbiome?
In my opinion it’s the lack of effective sleep that makes u feel drained, room needs to b 100% dark & noise proof.
Too much light messes up the brain 🧠
Deppression
That's one of the reasons! But half the people watching are not depressed and just deprived
I concur, I have had depression for over 20 years, it makes things hard to enjoy that you once enjoyed. Hard to find interest in anything and get extremely bored easily, which makes you very tired.
@@therandanator what steps did you take?
Yes I am tired.... but after watching this video I AM TIRED ALL THE TIME .... DR you made me sleep...😕😕😕
But ... thanks for your video... clear information
Also, make sure to sleep in a slightly cold room. Your body heats up when asleep so it needs a slightly cooler space.

I've had really bad fatigue for almost two years to the point where there are days I'm physically incapable of movement or speech. I have to set an entire day aside to do one load of laundry. My doctor did blood tests and said I was fine and probably just depressed so she sent me to a psychiatrist who saw me for 8 months before he said its not depression and now my doctor refuses to do any other tests but she's the only doctor my insurance will cover. Symptoms just get worse as time goes on and my ex thought I may have CFS or an autoimmune disease. Idk what to do so I'm commenting on a two year old video lol
So how are you feeling now? Is it the same?
I hope you got it sorted.
It's been 3 years since iam chronically tired , nothing excites me anymore , I've lose interest in all my hobbies got no friends , and don't have any energy to make new friends as iam too tired to talk with people and feel lost and doesn't listen when somebody talks with me

Being lethargic and fatigued is making me depressed this time. Not the other way around.
I'm tired all the time since waking up....and can't help it but sleep...but no one in my family understands it and they think I'm just lazy and taunts me all the time....I've told them...I can't help....I don't wanna sleep...but I can't control....😔
I’m tired of hearing him say “tired all the time” so many times 😩😂😂😂😂
After the end of this video doctor went staight to bed. He himself look tire
Have a nap for every time he says “tired all the time”
I would like to share my problem also as I saw everyone is sharing are getting suggestions from others. So here I go-
I had my exams just a week ago.
Take a shot whenever he says "tired all the time"
He said that when I read this comment lol
I've lived in Ireland my whole life and never heard this kind of accent anywhere ever until now. The way he says "low" has shocked me into waking right up. Thank you! 😭😂

I am from India, can I still use the services listed on your website or just the consultation part. Thanks for making this informative video, I didn’t consider it a serious problem but now it’s taking its toll on my life as am ageing.
Doctor himself giving example how a tired person look like😂
I lived all my life sleepy (I am 42 now). I have thyroid problem but having my medicine regularly but nothing is getting better. I don't have any other problem.
Yes kids nowadays are robots and don't need sleep
Me almost falling asleep at 5pm when I’ve not even done a lot. I love chronic illness.

Thanks I have Anemia and I thought it's not because of anemia that I'm always tired and bored
Its because of anemia. Just eat the right foods. Anemia is bad and your life can pass you by because of it

I can sleep for 24 hours even tho i just lays at my bed everyday, and i feel very tired . Idk why 🥺
So. Just a theory, but maybe this quote will help! “A body at rest stays at rest”
Go to sleep at 11 and wake up at 7, eat right. No junk food, take a cold shower right when you wake up and drink water, work out, go for runs and 20 min walks. Meditate, stretch
Also if your a man, dont bust a nut

Eye doctor missed the fact that some people don't have ovaries after chemotherapy. I lost mine and ever since then I have hot flashes and fatigue all the time.
Oh dear me I had that and I am tired all the time. The real change 4 me is I have no job and I hate what I do now
@@Hannah-jk3dk what do you do now? I work part-time cleaning a fitness center. I have yearly menstrual cycles. I just had an ultrasound done internally and got to see my ovaries and uterus because the doctor was confused why I'm menopause eating yet I get a yearly menstruation. I'm baffled as well but she couldn't find an explanation and it doesn't seem to bother me. I don't have cramps that you get during your period but it's normal like four to five days and then I don't see it for another year and she says it's not coming from my uterus cuz the walls are thin and checked my blood and I'm definitely in menopause, so who knows what my body is trying to do but I put on weight two years ago and that's when they started happening. I only weigh 145 lb but I weighed a lot less prior to 6 years ago. I was more like a toothpick and Underweight for being in my thirties.

OK people. The CURE for "BEING TIRED ALL THE TIME." :
First, you must play (really loud) Eddie Murphy's hit song "PARTY ALL THE TIME (My Girl Wants to)." SING it out loud over and over BUT substitute the chorus for "WHy am i so fucking TIRED ALL THE TIME?"
Next, Just simply watch this video. It will make you feel like you only thought you were tired compared to this narcoleptic doctor. I thought he would fall asleep while talking. He can barely keep his eyes open.
Best of luck to all you sleep deprived freaks out there. ;)

difference between fatigue & tiredness?
Did somebody count how many times this guy said "tired all the time" ?
18 times!!..lol
when depression/ psychotic events are long term and pills fail to treat it - depression/ schizophrenia / chronic fatigue could be down to the instability of head so called craniocervical instability.
I feel so tired every day and sleepy why? Could it be my diabetics or hypertension?
