    Thank you for the time and effort, you have allocated to this tantalising recipe. I will make a slight adjustment. With regards to the use of the butter. As I do not consume any form of oil. Stewed apple. Will be it’s substitute. It is a method, that I have used, on various occasions, and thus works rather well.

      You’re welcome! Ofcourse, make the necessary adjustments. Stewed apple? Wow I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks.

    I noticed you didn't use an egg substitute for binding such as flax or chia seed it's not necessary in this case by the way Kate looks amazing my favorite sweet treat

    Can we substitute One stick butter with 1/2 cup of oil? Or 1/2 cup of butter?

    • @AuthenticPlantbasedEats
      @AuthenticPlantbasedEats  11 месяцев назад

      You can decrease the butter to 1/2 the texture might be slightly different.

      I do a combination of whole wheat and almond flour and increase the baking powder. The difference in taste is quite minimal. But less carbs mean less spike in blood sugar.

      Look up coconut flour and get to know how it’s differs from using Almond four. Coconut flour needs more moisture or it will be really bad. I had a cake crumble apart because I didn’t have enough liquid in it for the coconut flour. And ground Flaxseed. I make a extremely good Lava cake from scratch by mixing these. The mix gives me the best of all of them. The coconut flour and almond flour make it cake light texture but the flaxseed is what’s really good for you. If you eat too much almond it raises inflammation in your body so you probably don’t want a whole cake made of that. Look up the benefits of ground flaxseed. I only use the golden flaxseed and you can find it at most grocery stores now. If you were an experimenter you might want to cut the recipe and try small batches tell you fine with the right ratio is a flours are of coconut and almond. My suggestion is mostly almond then coconut and a smaller amount of ground flaxseed. That’s how I work with it. I hope this gives you a start. ✨🍃🌼🍃✨
