Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there, it's the same in some ways but very different in others. There is a much more light-hearted tone to the game, It's far more " wacky wasteland " I'm not keen on that but if you dig a bit deeper there are some really good stories in the game, you just have to dig a lot to find them. In some ways the game drives me mad but then there are a lot of aspects I really enjoy.
@@FalloutPBC I wish I knew about this spot before! Not just for the scorched but you were right about the junk too. My poor character limps his way back the the station WAYYYY over encumbered! Lol
Are you travelling all over the map trying to find them? Sometimes one here two there? I did tons of powering up posideon quests earlier on in my game, inadvertantly doing this lol. I actually got so many legendaries i can't exchange them all at the same time 😵💫 for a new player like me its not a bad way of going about things
I really like that quest too. I think it's one of the better events. I am now also swimming in legendary items too. Although most of them have been rubbish and went in the exchanger also! Lol
I just got 10!!! In one run! I couldn't believe it! 3 came at me on the road in. One in the power thing and 3 more outside the first cooling tower. One on the right hand stairs going up and the rest on the roof areas. Has anyone got more than this?
@@FoxWolf2020 Both you guys had some great luck right out of the gate. The more I do this I tend to see between 4 and 7. I think I had 9 but that was in a Fallout 1st server.
@@FalloutPBC Took me a very long time to get it. Farmed everything - but mostly cause I wanted a 3 star one and not change it. Best decision I ever made in the game. With the right perks and mods you'll melt everything. Earl is a joke - solo daily ops and actually make it under 8 minutes (not all of them, of course) - farming Westtek becomes a breeze. And that was before I got into power armor. Once you combine those two and some resistance cards, you are immortal.
@@alexandruoprea699 You know it's a strange thing but I'm not sure I want that. I have been seeing a lot of players at that level and I wonder... Is the game still a challenge when you get to that level?
@@FalloutPBC Good point. I find myself jumping into danger more and more often. I run towards large groups. Gets me killed, but when I destroy them all, it's a great feeling. I use the chainsaw and PA when I want to feel like a immortal god - and the Fixer and gatling gun when I want to take it easy. But it is very addicting. Being able to slice everything is rather intoxicating. I often find myself throwing nukes around on private servers - not for collecting flora - but to feel like no boss has a candle to me. And it is great. But, to each his own, of course. Since it's a fantasy world, I want to be the immovable hero. Everyone's after different things.
@@alexandruoprea699 Ahh I see yes, the power play dynamic is the attraction. I do something similar in Fallout 4. I have a Brotherhood playthrough using the FCOM mod. I travel around with a companion and Dogmeat, plus three BoS squad mates. I currently have a number of large bases and about 40 troops at my command. I love hitting a big Mutant base like Big Johns Salvage, I call in air support and we just tear the place up! Lol I play it like it's a sequel to the main game, we have beaten the Institute, now we expanded and try to liberate the Commonwealth. But I guess, in essence, the power and control is part of the attraction.
Such a slow run. My spooky run gets done in 20 minutes and i hit 25 spot including this one. Just PA and a plasma caster while just going for spookies and a 30 bag average.
@Y2K.2000 Yeah once again this video is for the "noobs" Lots of new players joined the game during the free play last week. I made the video for all the new and casual players out there who are struggling to find the Spookies for the daily and weekly targets. Helping new players to enjoy any and all Fallout is my main reason for having a channel.
@Y2K.2000 Sorry I'd didn't pick that up. Yeah it's been great to see all the new players at the moment. I love dropping them a loot bag, lots of players helped me ( and still do to be honest ) so it's nice to do the same.
@Y2K.2000 I think free play weeks are great too, the majority of my audience haven't tried 76, some have said they will never play it, but quite a few are at least curious. Anything that helps people to make that jump has to be a good thing. I also use the donation chest I think that was a great idea. Mostly aid and ammo too, unless one of the challenges is to craft weapons or armour, then I build them low level and donate them.
I've still never played 76, but I must admit you're really making me want to try it, looks super fun and different yet he same

That is a nice spot. I'm gonna need to load up my Charleston camp and check this location out. Thanks for the tip 👍
