Who is triggered from watching this?😂🤣
That's bull get your money back bud
Bro companies get away with so much
Did you get it fixed?
I'm triggered with how fucking stupid you are, they wouldn't have even touched that or moved that part of the cylinder or anything I bet you that's why your bike blew up the first time don't blame them for your issues
@@michaelparker9918 oh yeah these dudes don't know shit, they can't even ride the things right, they never let the things rev out through the powerband and wonder why they run all fucked up. 2 stroke need to freaking be ridden not putting around fouling plugs and shit
Next video cr250r top speed run (it blew up)
defenitely! i pity the guy who is going to buy this piece of mistreated crap. My advice to the future owner is this: don't ride it, just take the whole engine apart and rebuild it from scratch.make a good rebuild, put some good aftermarket parts on it and it wil be a fine dirtbike. These guys are clueless. Instead of fixing things the right way they just take shortcuts while not knowing a goddamn thing what theyre doing. Doing a speedtest on this CR is going to result in another seized engine or even an accident. This bike could be so good after it had some real love and effort put in it. Whenever i buy an old bike,, first thing i do is tearing it totally apart and building it up from zero, because i don't want to run in unexpected troubles. I really enjoy rebuilding bikes, i like the whole process, the search for new parts and putting it back in the way it is supposed to be. ive seen a lot, and everytime i ask myself, how in gods name do some people mistreat their bikes in this or that way? Whenever i do a total rebuild or restoration, my goal is safety first and engine and the rest has to be top notch. i would never risk my own life, or that from others when i rebuild something. sometimes i even don't go for profit but for the love of it. no bike ever left here without knowing it is running perfect or safe..
🤣
I’m calling it next video “ CR 250 blew up again” any one with me?
100% correct lol!
It's going to blow up because the needle valve in the carburetors swelled up so he's is leaning it out. Every time you burn a two-stroke motor up from lack of fuel you put a new needle valve in your carburetor. Watch my video on the TMX carburetor that I just put on my RUclips so you can understand carburetion
or..when it blows up again, we never gonna hear from this poor mistreated CR anymore.. it was 'sold'..in superminty, crispy condition...
subbed to your channel.
Nice work
When you mount the cylinder on the crankcase you need to line up the linkage to the variable exhaust port. If it is in the wrong position the cylinder wont come down all the way in the front right corner. when you tighten the cylinder down in this position it will tipp over and lock up. I think you realized this at 5:55 but you dont want to admit it. I dont believe for a second that you shaved of the cylinder skirt and there is no way in hell that the skirt was to long.
Wrong piston or not. Mini super mega sprinters with stroker/stroked cranks with ktm rods and chinese bearings in crankbearings?? You said it yourself,THIS DOES NOT MATTER. They failed to line up the linkage to the hpp,Torqed the cylinder down and destroyed the linkage. Listen too these fools at 12:00 they throw it in your face!
same here they didn't talk bout the linkage so I know they don't know but I think they may of gotten lucky we will see how it runs ,I did the same thing when I way 16 no 1 to help me or tell me back then it was all on me ,some times that's the only way , they may be right if the gasket is thinner and the plating is thicker I see it down at the bottom ,I seen it befor to with no gasket or the base of the cylinder cut down I would think they still had room but im not there
I think he dropped the circlip from the wrist pin down in the crank case from the get go
is that what they was talking about that they think something fell in there , now that will be a show rideing with out a circlip I really want to see how bad it can be when the pin hits a port at high rpm
Bruh that thing was put together so janky i feel bad for whoever you sell it to
Mintiest entertainment on RUclips. Cant wait for the test ride.......................
you should of checked the ring gap in the cylinder before you built it up
When I rebuilt my 2 stroke I started it up first time didn’t let it warm up then just went full throttle hitting powerband in 3rd gear. Never did break ins still runs like a dream. I heard hard break ins are sometimes better.
Next video: “New cr250 blows up”
Lmao yes sir.. my thoughts exactly 🤣🤣
Nice job mate. Nothing more enjoyable than hearing your bike start after a rebuild. There is allways a bit of doubt when you do your own rebuild espcialy when you have to file your own cylinder to get it to fit :) last time i done one it wouldnt start then my mate pointed out the exhaust bung was still in lol. Great work guys.
Us chrome says “its minty, send it” hahhha
I really like how you guys are very family friendly. Thanks
Well done guys! Glad to see you got it working again. Next time think about a cylinder sleeve. Those can be bored out if needed.
clapped-in cr 250 by the 2vinty gettin minty
I just love how ppl twist the throttle like its gonna put fuel into the cylinder!
It only puts fuel in the cylinder if you're kicking it and giving it throttle at the same time, if the bike is parked it won't, because the compression from the piston sucks In fuel Every time you give it throttle while it's turning over, some bikes like the yz426f have a pumper carb, and when you twist the throttle it squirts fuel into the cylinder..
@@OGKILLa9365 I could see if it was a Harley Davidson as when you twist the throttle fuel shoots into the cylinder
Glad to see it running sounds pretty nice hopeing to see a riding video soon and then let’s see u dig into rebuilding that rm250
Bye bye Honda! NEVER, EVER leave the engine cases together if the piston broke a skirt! You are asking for trouble..... Flushing the crank case is unreliable and does not work!
Agreed! I screwed up a kx250 by not pulling the whole engine apart after chewing up half a piston.
@@byronstone6955 same bro suppose ya learn from your mistakes a blew a dtr up the same way when i was younger
i’d think that would be a thicker base gasket needed not hacking lumps off the cylinder.
well it started so that’s a plus, please don’t rinse it down your yard using engine to brake as it will go bang quicker than you built it!. so where did the broken bit of piston go then ?
Probably still at the bottom of the engine lol
Ouch...it'll turn up 10 miles deep in the woods. Crunch. GOTTA track these things down kids, i dont care if that means yanking the thing and splitting the cases, its a WHOLE lot easier than trashing the whole bottom end and crank.
Who gave this kid a set of tools...🤔
You have 1 compression ring my 2000 CR250R has to compression just rebuilt her last night and the coolant pump among other miscellaneous maintenance but the Piston I am using is a vertex piston but it has two rings still a two stroke
It’s going to blow. With that type of rebuild it ain’t going to last long.
Bike still has the same piston to this day.
I just did my 250 and the machine shop marked and drilled tiny holes where the exhaust bridge rides on the piston might want to check in on that
Nice job guys. What you guys do is an amazing promotion to something good. Fixing up old machines and providing fun toys for others to enjoy is a fulfilling business to be in and you guys will get better with experience. Nobody becomes perfect at anything without experience. So ignore these negative nancys who criticize your driving and practical abilities, with name calling and non productive points. They probably never drove or even smelled a two stroke in their lives anyway. Good criticism is hard to come by for sure so i hope you hear when i say two points of criticism, one for mechanics and one for driving: 1.) you really need to take caution with new engine components during installation. Scoring and abrasions will cause issues later when the metals expand under heat and pressure and likely cause stress fractures and catastrophic failures. and 2.) while warming a fresh rebuild you need to apply heat intermittently. meaning start run for 5 stop, cool a bit, start run for 10 low idle stop cool a bit, all the way up to 30 minutes at 5 minute intervals, give or take a few depending on air temps and humidity. Then ride very slow for at least 3 hrs no power band. I know this is hard to hear and do for ayoung guy so probably not let your little brother be the guy to do this. I hope you get the idea. Even after engine break in you should be letting the engine warm for 10 minutes after cold start before driving at all and you shouldnt use the power band harshley on a cold engine guys come on lol multiple bikes i see you guys going to power band right away and the sound it makes is eerily close to engine failure.. 2 strokes are not built heavy duty like 4 strokes guys this is why you need to take caution. They are fun yes. but finicky when you dont take caution. you will always have issues.
How was the CYLINDER problem fixed - please update.
yeaaa finalyyy the cr is back you guys are great at what you do man keep it up
Don't lie to the poor kids jeez man.
Yea really
Don't lie to them
next video, is the freshly cr blown?
Ahhhhhhhhh rebuilding the motor in the frame.! Grinds my gears ⚙️
Where do u gwt your parts from. I need a rear brake galiper maybe refresh the pipe muffler gasket kits and pistons. New ca les. Etc…
Nice video, bike sounds healthy👌💨
Sounds crisp
There’s a place L A sleeve there good
They make 550 sleeves for CR and KX also I think 300 sleeves for 250’s
Looks like the location dowels are missing. Also US chrome probably didn't give you your exact cylinder. If they have any on the shelf they'll send that to you for quick turnaround.
Shoulda went to Powerseal they welded and nikaseal my kx cylinder shipped less than 300$ also thicker base gasket is kinda a given on rebuild but I did head work that required it...
Took a long time but sounds runs great
And when you run your bike you don't want to constantly idle when you first rebuild it you have to go through different RPM ranges but not high RPM and downshifting help set the ring
You should change that needle valve in your carburetor so I remember what that piston looks like and it was from lack of fuel that burned the motor down and I already told you what all the marks were in the top of your piston in your head your main bearing cage came apart FYI
Rebuild the bottom end too. My old mechanic was a narcissist and wouldn't listen. A moped with bad main bearing and my cr250 vibrating so bad motor mount bolts rattle out. He still won't listen even with two identical problems.
Let it cool with the cylinder at bottom dead center, saves the Piston when it cools down
Does the arrow on the Piston really make a difference I've done a couple of rebuilds and I've always put them the other direction and they ran fine
I mean, its there for a reason.
Pistons are conical in shape due to the way they expand with heat, and that expansion is determined by the material used, its thickness and distribution of thickness (rod pin area has plenty material and expands more), and can be very directional as a result. The mere fact you've turned some around and not had issues may be coincidence or your piston type is uniform, or issues are still imminent. Other pistons have port windows and are definitely directional
@@petercarlboer2793 ahhh ok. Makes total sense. Thank you a lot for the info definitely appreciated
Ur_Associate that’s just dumb to do that
Power band won't come in?
Press f for respects for the clappatron aka cr 250
Cool. ❤❤💪💪 love ur vids
ol yeahhh sounds gooddd
1. you have an exhaust leak at the slip on union. 2. You really shaved it? I'm a little skeptical
yeah it's visible with the blips at 9:29
tipped the bike upside down so any metal would come out best idea ever!
9:30 can anyone else hear the rod knocking💀
Thats sick
You ganna break it in if you had to race?
I would love to have it tho 😎😎
Did you call USChromes?
OK weird question but do you have Scottish parents as you appear to have a slight Scottish accent on some words
@Mack tosh does he fuck, he has a speech impediment, hes nothin like scottish, i am scottish..
Kickstart boots pedal it it fun good luck
Cool vid
Sweet bike. But im a big fan of all stock. Lol. But let it rip
Hey 2Vintage! Big fan from Lithuania !
They could have given you a pre 97 cylinder which takes a domed top piston. Just my guess.
A 1997 1998 jug has a letter P on the left side on the intake.
1997 to 2001 take a flat top pistion
@@250race sure does!
Informative vid
Dam us chrome does hack work I would be pisssssed, but nice to see you fixed it dam thing sounds nice!!
Karl Wright II they didn’t do anything wrong. His base gasket was a lot thinner then the old one... along with your actually supposed to completely strip the cylinders before sending it to them.
Sam Thomas your a kid I assume? Well to the naked eye you can see the skirt of the cylinder is to long and not even finished. You need to know what your talking about before you correct me.
Karl Wright II Im not a kid. Lol just have a little bit of common sense is all. Even a slight thicker gasket could have fixed that issue. I’ve used us chrome before zero issues. Your a twat.
Your a idiot if you can’t see the skirt is to long I’ve built many motors and never had a gasket do that your Theory of a 1 mil gasket affecting the cylinder to sit on there properly is a hilarious
Us chrome fixed my grandma's artificial heart and they shaved the valves 1 mil and put thicker gaskets on so your both twats. She still making me samiches to this day.
I've got a 96 cr250 since new in 95.
Usually when one side of the sleeve isn't measured right the other isn't.
Rip to another machine
Rise and shine!
Did this guy just say the bike sounded crispy
Of course. Loose piece of metal floating around, cylinder thats not lining up, an hour of kicking to fire it up. Its minty AND crispy, quite the opposite of clappy and crunchy. I was kinda surprised it even ran TBH...lol
Okay I watch your video a couple times your power valve assembly in your bottom end is supposed to be rocked all the way counterclockwise so that is wrong you also don't have two dowel pins in your cases or your cylinder they're are also missing them 2. You're also missing your C clip on your power valve which is underneath that 17 mm nut on the right side of your jug. You even have the power valve set on your cylinder wrong. It's also supposed to be rocked all the way counterclockwise.
How about I give you my address so you ship that motor to me so it's built the proper way?
If not your motor is going to be a boat anchor.
Greets from the netherlands
2vintage get a 04 or newer yz125 and yz250 2 stroke and yz250x 2 stroke
Clapped Loading....
What happened to your wooden project bike?
It probably caught on fire
or it clapped...
Is it mint?

9:45 "i think there's still oil down by the crank" are you kidding me no shit there's oil there if there wasn't oil it would blow up quicker than it's already going to
it's a 2stroke bud.. no oil in that engine. only in the gearbox and clutch. ever heard of premix in twosmokers? he threw oil in it to flush it. better would be to just split the engine, but who am i?
Alex Postma 🤦🏼♂️ the whole point of premix is to keep everything lubed that's not covered by regular transmission oil dude that's why you mix two stroke oil and gas
well, that is exactly what i meant bro.but i have the idea these two guys think that a 2 smoker has oil in the engine just like a 4 stroke, because he keeps mentioning changing oil of the engine in many, many vids.
Alex Postma based on their previous "mechanical skills" in other videos I would think the same thing😂
@@michaelparker9918 😂😂😂😂😂
9:34 did someone say exhaust leak 😂
U should look for a Honda fortrax 250 it's a old school racing quad I have one and it's in mint condition but I can't sell it it's too precious 😂😂
fuck no they shouldnt I couldn't stand seeing them fuck up a perfect machine like that.
TRXs are quite rare these days. Sick little quads though.
suzuki next top end for you
Everything new but forgot a new spark plug
Don't like that Weisco pistons - like the OEM Cast ones.
No break in needed on motocross bikes ! These guys ? !
Spend the extra money on assembly lube trust me
100%...and take the motot all the way out, in an almost sterile environment if possible. Like bike guru Cam N. He is like a surgeon.
Love the build
This is what we call a hail marry
Powerseal Usa there pretty good
make shure it's not burning coolant or it will blow up agian
Do they even know how to run a two-stroke in
It blow up in a week they wanted to do a heat cycle or two
Probably just get on that road and flog the guts out of it ,An hold it flat and pinging down the road on a lean mix
The crank rod is bad and your crank bearings and seals are gone***** that why it wont idle dudes
That isn't the problem probably, they could off not touched the idle adjustment screw, or known as the fuel/air mixture screw! Or the carb needs adjustment
Next time send it to CVtech in quebec Canada, It will be worth the shipping my KXF and my RM were done by them and itvis always beautiful work.
Please when you cold start. Give it throttle like 4 times. Then don’t touch the throttle when kicking it.
Maison Bias exactly that’s the proper way to start a 2 stroke should start first kick every time if it doesn’t start within a few kicks top end is clapped
@@joshtheincrediblechicken5423 not always. could be flooded or something. or if they're hot I find they usually prefer some throttle to start
You should’ve let it cool down for more than 15 minutes during your heat cycles
whats with the cell phone infatuation? Its kinda hard to monitor your engine with that thing sucking you in bro
Kick it 6 times, twist throttle 4 times, is choke on? Sounds good.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Minty
Less throttle! Lol.
Get a 01 cr500 and a 07 cr250 also sell chucks 125 and give him the 250
charlie is a better rider than u. can u get another kx100
Who all has been to the indy 500
Cringing at the fact you filed down the cylinder. Us chrome has been in business for years and has a good reputation. You should of at least called them to see what the problem was. My guess is you were missing the 2 cylinder dowels and your paper gasket was too thin. That cr is a ticking time bomb
If it's a nikasil cylinder and the coating has been compromised by filing, it could lead to issues
Blaster528 regardless of the difference between metal & paper gasket it shouldn’t have allowed the cylinder to hit the crank..
greg moran sure it would if he was missing the dowel pins and the gasket is the wrong sized paper one for example.
He didn't call them because he realized he's a fucking idiot
You seriously needed to put a damn cushion on it ?
Bro it's just a bike
I can tell your High Chuck.
Higher levels of pollution in Oshkosh, Thanks to Joe !
The bottom end sound like a cheese grater
Cheese graters don't make sounds lmao... At least where I'm from
Come on guys ! You do not need to heat cycle it... That is BS ! People who race and change a top end don't even do this ! Just start it and ride it like you stole it ! I never did this to my RM 250 ! I was pinned to the bar 5 minutes after doing the top end ! Still pulling strong it's been 3 years now since the top end build ! You can see it in my videos ! Did this to my sled also !
doobyboy21 I did the same thing with my cr85 lol and it still runs great, its been over a year now since i rebuilt it
@@cqoutdoors2103 Heat cycles are actually worst for your engine ! It has been proven !
