I watched that video you suggested and it was interesting. I miss the days when you’d have multiple versions of the game that shared the same name. Now they’re all standardized (I know the latter is technically the better option, but I prefer when you could play multiple versions of the game and have a different experience). I should really get around to playing this. I like how it’s completely crazy by design. I wish they’d port the PS2/Wii versions to PC/newer consoles.
I definitely reccomend giving it a go if you are a Star Wars fan, it’s solid. It was such an interesting time when we got different versions for each console, thankfully there’s lots of older games out there that are different!
I honestly remember the lead up to this game being as big a deal as a SW release could get. They even had Adult Swim play the SW episode of Robot Chicken at Midnight Launch
Love this game, i actually played FU2 Frist then after beating it same day (got the game for a 5er) went bk out to pick up FU1 i can see why people where upset with 2 as it felt like a natural progression swapping from fu2 to fu1, but going from 1 to 2 definitely a downgrade in the perks skill and unlock, so i lucked out, still a great game, wish someine could mod 2 into 1.
For me the story of number 1 was also a bit better than 2. It’s a shame we never got a third installment. Although the spiritual successors in Respawn Entertainments Jedi games are very good.
I know the over the top shit is the whole point of this game, but i seriously feel like it holds it back a ton. I just want to slash troopers with a normal saber, not a saber with a massive force lighting bolt flying off it on my attacks lol. So over the top it becomes cringe
I honestly agreed when I was younger…. Especially coming from the more “grounded” Jedi games. Nowadays in my head as it’s not “official” I kind of just go with it… I think they struck a better balance in the new Respawn Entertainment Jedi games.

If my memory serves I seem to remember a very theatrical trailer featuring the Star Destroyer being ripped from the sky. Impressive stuff!
Good luck!

with how poorly disney has handled SW nah legends is still canon to me
I can get on board that train of thought!

@azordash_games yeah, now that we have the Fallen Order series, it's not quite as annoying to me
