Probably because by movie "cannon" Sidious is the only one with knowledge of Plaguegis n seeing as his hand in padmes death n using anakins feelings for her to manipulate him to the darkside, its doubtful he would ever present Vader with information/knowledge of his old master or a means to bring Padme back due to the risk of Vader losing his edge or anger.

Sam Witwer also voices Darth Maul in the Clone Wars as well as Palpatine. He is a huge Star Wars fan and knows the lore incredibly well. They couldn't have found a better man to play Starkiller. I heard a story where there was a scene planned for Clone Wars where Anakin had a vision of his mother and told her he wish she could meet his wife. Sam was the only one of the entire production team to realize the line didn't work since Shmi met Padme in Ep1.
chamoo232 yep also he was the one who told the production team in Solo that he wouldn’t have had his TPM lightsaber anymore but an inquisitor’s instead
though the game starts going full fanfiction level in storytelling at some point, it has without a doubt the most entertaining and fun lightsaber combat
Gostei muito desse jogo, joguei bastante, jogo incrível, podíamos fazer uso da força pra qualquer coisa. O personagem do jogo era muito forte. E muito bonitos os gráficos do jogo.
Quite literally one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Definitely needs a new sequel or a remaster/make. And Galen Marek needs his own film!!! Starring Sam Witwer of course.
Hearing about all the extra modes makes me wonder if there's a definitive version with everything. I know there's the Ultimate Sith edition that came out later, but I also remember it just adding what-if missions
It’s crazy really I remember seeing this game and thinking to myself how can one person like this Jedi have so much power. You play the game and it’s like nothing you have never experienced in any other Star Wars medium. I’m grateful for Lucas film not only expanding into film and books. But also making these original games we all grew up cherished and loved playing with one another thank you ! Lucas film and Sam Witer for a beautiful game set in a galaxy far far away.
Man, looking back at these guys needing out about stuff like physics sims or material simulations is almost predacious. Really goes to show how far we’ve come, since both of those things and more are essentially standard in games nowadays
I'm replaying this and its wild realizing how many voices from this game were in The Clone Wars. Leia's first scene I was like this HAS to be Padme's VA Catherine Taber, then another person sounded like Admiral Yularan/Tom Kane Makes me wonder if this game is to thank for the team they picked for TCW
An apprentice for Sidious would be a violation of the Rule of Two. Vader had a secret apprentice because he wanted to overthrow the emperor I'm pretty sure.
@@Stei_n The game itself says that the whole thing was Palpatine's plan all along. Palpatine and Vader used Starkiller to group up all those who could oppose the Empire so they could capture them all at once. It backfired and it created the rebellion. When the Empire captures everyone and Vader's betrayal is clear, Starkiller says "You never planned to overthrow the Emperor didn't you?" and Vader respond "Not with you, no" which mean Vader never trained Starkiller for that purpose but he did want Palpatine overthrown.
The Wii port of the force unleashed is available on the Nintendo switch for a fair price, and it's just as we all remember boys. Bonus feature you can either play with a standard nintendo switch pro controller if you prefer playing like its Xbox, or you can also use the Joy Con's to actually feel connected and ultimately in control of the tremendous power this game makes all us feel. plus they've really upgraded the technology from the good old Wii days so it tracks your hand movements and button presses perfectly without lag or buffer.

I thought the main character was made up but he’s real literally it’s so weird
Lol
kronos 66 i jus figured that out jus now😂😭
Sam Witwer also voices Darth Maul in the Clone Wars as well as Palpatine.
The good old times when people who loved star wars give us good games and then........disney and ea..............i miss those days
If you guys have this on Xbox one X the graphics are still pristine.
Sam is like the best friend that I never had that I could nerd out with about everything.,
Yeah man Sam Whitmer to me is a legend in the voice acting department
This game is so good. That I have both the steelbook and the standard plastic case.
though the game starts going full fanfiction level in storytelling at some point, it has without a doubt the most entertaining and fun lightsaber combat
The FORCE UNLEASHED IS MORE STARWARS THAN THE SEQUEL TRILOGY
Gostei muito desse jogo, joguei bastante, jogo incrível, podíamos fazer uso da força pra qualquer coisa. O personagem do jogo era muito forte. E muito bonitos os gráficos do jogo.
Tinha que sair um filme dessa lenda
I can only die in peace if I we receive a good sequel :(
Quite literally one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Definitely needs a new sequel or a remaster/make.
And Galen Marek needs his own film!!! Starring Sam Witwer of course.
“On next gen we have the power of the 360 and ps3” I didn’t think I’d hear anyone say that
Hearing about all the extra modes makes me wonder if there's a definitive version with everything.
Gameplay wise, there has never been a better Star Wars game
Change my mind
Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles PS1
One of the best games I ever played!
Man, looking back at these guys needing out about stuff like physics sims or material simulations is almost predacious. Really goes to show how far we’ve come, since both of those things and more are essentially standard in games nowadays
Are you telling me Sam Witwer was Starkiller and Darth Maul?
Yes, and Papatine.
I'm replaying this and its wild realizing how many voices from this game were in The Clone Wars. Leia's first scene I was like this HAS to be Padme's VA Catherine Taber, then another person sounded like Admiral Yularan/Tom Kane
Makes me wonder if this game is to thank for the team they picked for TCW
I don’t care if it’s Canon or not, games are about having fun and it certainly delivered on that front
This game will forever be canon to us Disney stsr wars doesnt exist.
11:35 “once you place these characters between the OT & PT, you can’t imagine Star Wars without them”...
LucasFilm & Disney: “Hold my beer.”
welp...
Much better quality games back then, unlike the star wars games we got now
Fallen Order wasn’t bad we just really need that sequel to be really good and not rushed like Force Unleashed 2 was. Unleashed > Fallen Order though
Fallen Order was fantastic and amazing, as everyone loved it, and Battlefront 2 improved a shit ton since launch. Where the hell have you been.
@@kevintrump7086 Fallen Order, wasn't just bade, it was an amazing game which it critical acclaim.
10 years has pass and many of Starkiller fans still want TFU3.
4k Upscale remakes for these games would be golden
Back in the day when writers and developers actually asked the original creator for advice and approval. An elegant game from a more civilized era
Before the dark times
Before EA..
Bruh, that 100 meter lightsaber tho
To this day I still want there be a Starkiller movie one day
George aloud Vader to have an apprentice but im sure Sidious didn’t
An apprentice for Sidious would be a violation of the Rule of Two. Vader had a secret apprentice because he wanted to overthrow the emperor I'm pretty sure.
Stein yeah and how would he feel about getting overthrone? I mean it is sidious
@@epicc1o1official well it would probably anger Sidious
Stein yeah
@@Stei_n The game itself says that the whole thing was Palpatine's plan all along. Palpatine and Vader used Starkiller to group up all those who could oppose the Empire so they could capture them all at once. It backfired and it created the rebellion. When the Empire captures everyone and Vader's betrayal is clear, Starkiller says "You never planned to overthrow the Emperor didn't you?" and Vader respond "Not with you, no" which mean Vader never trained Starkiller for that purpose but he did want Palpatine overthrown.
I wish he would be cannon again
I love the fact they used a bit of the kotor soundtrack
Anyone else notice the Battlefront 2 text used in the titles of this video? lol. I half expect some narrative about the 501st when I see it
"The Power of the Xbox 360 and the PS3" . Stand back everybody!
