- In today's vid I am flying out the Re-2005 which sits at 6.0 in the Italian tech tree.
Although being very overtiered (I think it should be 5.0 or 5.3) This plane works very well, because the Reggiano is not a plane that is seen much in Air RB, and therefore enemies have no idea how to fight you.
This gives you a tactical advantage against any players who don't know how the Re-2005 performs. It is extremely fun to play and reverse superprops!

the 3 teammates swooping in to steal the dead to rights p-47 at the beginning just sums up the brutal frustration that is this game sometimes
I usually use this against CAS in my ground lineups and do pretty well, so it's nice seeing how someone better than me plays it in actual air battles
italian tree may not be the most specialized, but it is one of the more fun ones (also +beautiful looking plane, hella based)
Idea for future vids: find planes that do well in +2 or higher uptiers. For example, take the Pyorremyrsky or D4Y3 to 6.0, or the Br.693 to 4.0.

It was a very fun plane when it released at a lower BR and the bug where you had still complete authority while stalling.
It's been a while since I last played WT, but when you were talking about the downsides of this plane... to be careful against certain planes... man I used to play with this plane A LOT, unless WT changed something in this plane, man, the RE 2005 can fight and win against anything and anyone. Of course some will be more challenging, but this plane is a spitfire with steroids, it's just insane, unless they nerfed or something, just learn the characteristics of this plane and you will be able to control one of the best props in the game, of course you won't win 100%, but this plane is different, it's insanely good in almost all aspects, use it without fearing anyone, don't use it thinking "oh against Japanese planes I won't win", or anything like that. You will have to use flaps and everything, play in a very active way, in an expert way lets say it, if you play it regularly, you will lose a lot, but if you're an experienced player, you will win most of the fights you jump into, also with this plane it's awesome to take 2v1 even 3v1, you will be in advantage. It's totally worth it to get this plane.
Yes they nerfed it a while ago, it now has performance similar to the 4.3 f mkIX, it’s sad.

BR in War Thunder is just bonkers. A mid war (1943) prop against a Jet. This is peak madness. Who thinks that this is fun and good gameplay?

it's so high up because the player stats are high. if a plane sucks but turns well enough, this will be the case, because everyone tries turn fighting at low BRs. and so the plane gets pushed higher and higher and somehow still wins just by turning with idiots

It seems to be good, however I feel like its effectiveness relies way too much on what the enemy does (like with most turnfighters), so I don't really like it... I guess I'm not used to it yet, but it's nice to see people doing well with it tho, that was a very cool video !

Nicely done! Love the intro compilation, and as for the plane, well, its performance in a match will be determined by the IQ of the enemies you face. Definitely not a favorite of mine but if you can do well in it then all power to you.

I know you enjoyed the La 7 and personally I think the yak 9U is the better plane at the same BR. It’s my most successful mid tier plane. Give it a shot and see for yourself.

What about doing a Ki-100 video too? That one is quite the hidden gem especially when you lnow how to use MEC
Advice:
Run 30% engine Radiator and 20% oil radiator
It lets you WEP forever while cooling the engine down to White line.
I might take a look at the Ki61 or ki100 in the future, I’ve heard some good things about it :)

An over tiered turn fighter which relies on the enemy being dumb. Just because the enemies are being dumb and decide to play into your hand doesn't make the plane good.
Yeah I never explicitly said the plane was good, but that I just really enjoyed flying it because it is underestimated.

600 with no vertical targeting
@@MacWithGun Hmm I got 600 with vertical and I miss all my shots when I'm not flying horizontal. So if a plane flies by from left to right , I bank right 90 degrees and shoot. Can't remember ever hitting someone then :P I'll try without vertical. Maybe that helps.
