I did not realize until this day, there was a Dio song in "Iron Eagle." As if my memory of watching this movie as a child wasn't awesome enough--I love Dio.
DIO's voice is and talent is a phenomenon that I believe I will never see again in my lifetime. I watch those singing reality shows and listen to the newer singers coming about but I never hear anyone close to the sound and talent of Mr Ronnie James Dio. I am thankful he left us so much of his music too listen to and to watch.

Thats crazy. I was walking across a parking lot and a Mercedes G class zoomed by me I only caught glimpse of black and hair. As I was about to enter the Office Depot I heat "its a G Class. The car its a G class" Im like is your name Ronnie . "Yea." Ended up talking to me for about 20 minutes. We knew a couple people in common. He gave me the number To Niji and said call him .we will go to lunch. So I listened to Dio and Sabbath for years and I end up crossing paths with Dio one Saturday morning.
It's on the E.P. which came out on May 1986 , it contains only four songs , and " Hide in the rainbow " is one of them . This song is part of the Iron Eagle Movie Soundtrack as well .
Sure he wasn't Viv but he was the next best thing! His playing on Dream Evil and Magica were Amazing and the Fact that he stood by Ronnie's side to the very end speaks volume. Vivian was abviously the best guitar of Dio but his attitude SUCKED! I think he even went out to say that he didnt care for Heavy Metal Music and talked crap about Holy Diver and The last in line. (Go figure)

When this movie OST appeared in the market back in the old days (1986) i run it to several LP stores to write it in a tape (that was illegal back then!!!) and I pay an ammount of money that clould have buy a complete album on tape for just this song in an empty tape !!! RONNIE the ONE & ONLY!!!!!!!!!!
