I subscribed. I just grew my first Caribbean Pepper plant (400,000+ Scovilles) and now I'm trying some different things with them. I've got a video of my plant and some ripe peppers on my channel. Thank you. I can't wait to try your methods!!!
I love this recipe, I always make pickled peppers similar to this and also ferment Cabbage and Garlic quite a bit. Never used Chayote in a pickle yet, thanks for the great idea and quality videos always.
I did something similar last summer with a ton of garlic and cauliflower
This looks amazing! I have so many scotch bonnet peppers growing need some fun ideas.
How long so you have to wait before enough can eat it?
Right Chris. Now I have a recipe for all my scotch bonnets that I grow here in Miami.
Cheers Man,
Jody

Chris, will you post a video using the results of these pickled peppers? Thanks for uploading this video!
not sure what you're asking
caribbeanpot I think she’s asking for a video of a meal you use these peppers in. Like esco fish or something?
Yes Breda a it this !
much luv for the support
Could I add bell peppers ? I love all the colours ....
What do you pair this with?
Hello Chris. I enjoy your videos and recipes. I was wondering if it is necessary to sterilize the jar when this recipe does not require heating the raw products and the products are handled when packing the jar ? Keep up the galivanting please.
well to be on the safe side I would sterilize the container.. especially if it's been siting around for a while
Chris u have this Jamaican pickle locked
Nice one. I just need to ask: how strong was the vinegar? In my country, the range is from 5 to 20%.
I have no clue as it does not say on the bottle.
I am having the real thing here in Jamaica Chris!!! I am here for 6 days😀
enjoy yea
Thanku!!!
Looks great! How long till you can use it?
3 days or so
Love your show please check your audio unable hear you
hi there! is it ok to use white vinegar? which is mostly we use here in philippines. thank you.
Yes, white vinegar is used for a clean, pure, fresh taste. 🙋🏾♀️
How long does it take for the peppers to get pickled?
2 days and you're good to use.
This looks like hot is it like hellopeno pepper looks good for any sandwich or cooking gumbo
Make sure you use a clean spoon in there. Not one you have been using it will spoil it.
not sure what you're saying.. do you mean during the making process or after when it's cured?
After it cured. Eg if someone eating and want to get some don't use the spoon you were using to dip in the bottle. Use a clean spoon.
You sound like my mother! She always says: "don't use a dirty spoon, it will turn the goods sour sour!"
So if the warm vinagar brings out more flavors why you don't like using it warm
So handsome!!
You are from Trinidad. Do you have a Trinidad recipe.
Why does it need to be a Trinidad recipe... all the ingredients can be found in Trinidad
How to pick my pork and beef
What about apple cider vinegar ok?
not for me, but if you like it, you can use. I find that it alters the flavor of the pickle in a bad way
Thanks. It is marinating now. One more day. @@caribbeanpot
