Awesome!!!!! Thank you for your video. I found a used EXM3000LPS for $600.00 in excellent condition. I just got it all together the other day and really enjoyed your video for the variety of exercises. I am saving your video as references for my workouts. Thank you 🙏🏻☺️💪🏻🙌
This was really great, thank you so very much! I am a tall woman and I have 33 inch inseam legs. My only complaint with my gym is that the pivot point on the leg extension is in the wrong place no matter how far back I put the seat. It’s off by an About an inch and a half to 2 inches because I have a long femur and the pressure on my knee is too much when I try to lift my leg. Other than that it’s an excellent all-around gym.
Hi Dr.Gene, I just had a question. I have some dumbbells and a chair. If I get this machine, do I really not need a gym for muscle building? I have more than enough workouts to do?
You absolutely do not need to join a gym to build muscle. This gym gives you incredible options. You have a high, mid and low pulley which gives you endless creative possibilities.
servano8 find a gym that’s cheap but has a weight stack that fits your rods($100). Add it to your current weight stack. You will have to shorten your cable.
@@drgenejames awesome thank you! You are so inspiring! I am trying to get back into shape after some injuries and do not want to wear a mask to exercise so this would be perfect for home gym. I will see if Vectra used on market as well. Now if I can get half as fit before I am 60 like you that would be awesome.
@@drgenejames thank you I had a lot of injuries and will invest in a good home gym and workout program to get fit after healing up. Looking at Powertec Levergym and Body Solid EXM 3000 LPS for my garage and home gym to use with my Precor elliptical trainer.
Thanks for your uploads im in the market for a quality multi gym looked at the vectra 3850 and the exm3000. What's would you choose. Is there any models you've used that stands out. Thanks
Hey would you recommend a home gym such as this one or tonal? which would be better in your opinion? & one more question can you get these home gyms in apartments? Like would carpet be an issue or are home gyms fine for apartments too I've been stuck on deciding which home gym would be best for too long now. Thx in advance bro
A home gym like this one will fit in an apartment. My first home gym was in my apartment, so it will work. Whether you use this or a tonal gym, Depends on how much space you have and how much you want to spend. The tonal gyms can be purchased used at a good price, as well. Frankly, I have not used the tonal equipment so I cannot vouch for it. But if I had to choose, I would choose a traditional home gym. I wish you well.
Dr. Gene, I actually debated buying this rig but held off because the weight stack only went up to 200. Didn't occur to me that I could mod it and add more weight lol. Ended up buying the Bodysolid Fusion F600 which does come with a 310 lbs stack. And I did so after watching your video review of the F500 varient ruclips.net/video/mkMkIT2xO6Q/видео.html. Thank you!
Thank you so much for featuring our EXM3000LPS Home Gym! If you ever have any questions or issues, don't hesitate to reach out.
Is there a shoulder press option?

Sorry to hear that. You’re right, it’s a great gym.

Did you pull the black metal covers from the weight stacks because they rub?
Yes, I added a 250 pound weight stack to this gym and that made it to wide or the weights would rub on the shrouds. Good observation.
hello Dr Gene. i want to buy the exm 4000. is there a way to combine the weight stacks to make it havier?

Do you find this to be the ultimate home gym currently on the market or would you recommend any others similar in quality?
I think this is a superior home gym. My personal favorite gym brand is Vectra. They are out of business but you can still find them used.

Hey Doc, I have the same Home gym. I was wondering what kind of plates did you mod yours with? Im maxing out my 210lbs. Thanks in advance
The weight stacks on most gyms are interchangeable. We ran across a gym that had a 250 pound weight stack and we swapped them.

The Vectra 3850, hands-down. No question, that is the best gym.
Hi Dr. Gene, what would be a good price for this machine? I don’t want to overpay bc of the lockdown demands, thanks
$1000 the prices increased because of the lockdown
Dr Gene James wow the cheapest price I’ve seen is $3500!
This machine is now going for $1495 without the leg machine
