If you have an older computer, the biggest improvement in speed will come from "deactivate native canvas" under Preferenes - > Technology previews.

The problem I have is PS gets progressively slower the longer it's open. There's a delay of several seconds just trying to draw a square marquee or selecting a color. Relaunching always fixes it, but gets very annoying. Doesn't even matter if I do anything or not, just leaving PS open all day it'll slow down, and my PC is anything but slow. NVME drive and 32gb ram.

Maybe there is a problem with your cpu overheating? Watch your cpu temperature while launching Photoshop and using it.

@@Zenzdesign nah. its watercooled and does suffer any during gaming. PS shouldn't even hit the gpu like that anyway.

The Graphics Processor is disabled. How can i activate it? Photoshop can not recognize it. I am trying to figure this out, but I can not fix it. Also, do you have a video tutorial on (How to Fix the "Insufficient VRAM") in the Graphics Processor Compatibility Check in Photoshop? You have a new subscriber to your channel.

What kind of computer do you have? It might be a problem that you're running Photoshop on an old computer with a bad GPU. You can't get more VRAM if you don't have them. Thanks for sub!

The only problem my photoshop has is that on bigger canvases (And even smaller canvases such as 3600x3600 to a lesser extentn) the text gets really laggy in free transform mode. Pictures and shapes resize just fine but the text is really laggy. Any ideas what could be causing that? I don't have an overabundance of fonts or anything.
