Well, I've elarnt something. I never realised it was the lads from Nottinham Forest FC that were involved in founding Arsenal. Thanks for sharing. by the way, I visited Highbury as well. Check out my video of how it looks today. Cheers
I'm pretty sure that two lads didn't take a shirt to Woolwich and find Arsenal. But we are in fact the reason why Arsenal where "RED" as we when we played them all those years ago Arsenal didn't even have a kit so Forest played in their away kit and lent them their home kit all Arsenal did was change it a bit and that's why their sleeves are white. Cracking video though mate. And we get goosebumps every time we're there aswel. Nothing compares to a packed City Ground for atmosphere especially when we belt out our famous song City Ground, to the tune of Mull of Kintyre by Paul Mc and WINGS now that's goosebumps bro 🔴🌳
@@forestranger54082 Forest players moved to work in Woolwich and play for dial square, who became Arsenal, got donated kit from forest after asking them for help. No match was involved
Great result for the “Tricky Trees”. Not so for my team. Up until today I never really knew what that nickname actually meant. I guess many a team that has underestimated them ends up finding out. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers
It’s changed a bit since then ! You’ll have to try and come back. I love the emotion it seemed to stir up despite you not even being a fan. A place on the river we call home ❤
Well, like I said. It’s my love of football and the surreal feeling that I should be standing in a ground that I watched on TV as a kid and was in awe of that team in the late 70s. Cheers
@@arturotraveller3761 I've been lucky enough to be in the world famous city ground Nottingham on many great days and nights. Keep up the good content. 👍
Great to see the joy of someone seeing the world famous city ground. Walking over Trent bridge on match day is such an experience.
Legendary historical club. 2 lads from Forest took their kits to woolwich Arsenal and founded Arsenal football club

Dump of a ground built on an old slag heap.
It wasnt built on your mum's arse, don't be so nasty to her the old slag heap! 😂
Thank you for your wonderfully profound baseless comment, I’m sure you feel much better after that.
