- A tour around the famous home Ground of Leeds United FC on the day they sacked Jesse Marsch. This mighty club has seen far better days and if its history is anything to go buy they will be back again !
Elland Road, stands as a beacon of footballing history and passion. Nestled in the heart of Leeds, England, this iconic stadium boasts a rich legacy dating back to its inauguration in 1897. With a seating capacity exceeding 37,000 fervent fans, Elland Road is a cauldron of energy on matchdays, resonating with the chants and cheers of the loyal supporters who flock to witness their beloved Whites in action. The stadium's distinctive design, characterized by its towering stands and floodlight pylons, creates an imposing atmosphere that strikes fear into the hearts of visiting teams. Beyond its role as a sporting arena, Elland Road serves as a symbol of community pride and unity, embodying the spirit of Leeds and its unwavering dedication to football. Спорт
Great video, been supporting them for 60 years through good and bad times. Its a special club. When they play away they fill grounds . I like this stadium because you are mainly up close to the play and not many yards away up in the sky. Real atmosphere at this stadium
My grandad knew Billy and went to go the pub with him
Can you imagine the stories between them !
An unusual place to get a recommendation, from my 'studio.' We've just come off the end of a hard and disappointing season with the playoffs just around tye corner v Norwich.
Interestingly, it seems you made the vid a while ago when we were about to or had just appointed Allerdyce, the manager previous to him was Gracia. Good prediction then about 'big Ange' he's done pretty well for Spurs given that tgey lost Kane.
Thanks for the vids, enjoyed them.
Yep ! May 3 last year LUFC just sacked Javi Gracia and we happened to be there on the day. Even a year ago Big Ange was an unknown quantity. The Mail Online journos laughed at the suggestion.
Excellent narrative, nice guy, well spoken, respectfully etc etc, obviously not a Scouser to his credit.
I might not be a Scouser but I’d be honoured to be on just the same ! Cheers
Hate the paleness of the stadium makes me feel sick
ALL LEEDS ARE WE ALL LEEDS ARE WE ALL LEEDS ARE WE LEEDSLEEDSLEEDS
Ah Leeds the best team in the world 😂😂😂so they’ve been telling us all season
Dirty Leeds horrible fans
Bremner was a real dirty little B...... And, so they tell me, Johnny Giles was even worse...... Cloughie was right about them, which begs the question as to why he went there.....
What would u know . Liverpool had some nasty bastards . Ie Tommy Smith
Fair call ! Every team had their “hard man”. Funny how we’re loved by their fans and hated by the opposition. Graeme Sounnes, Duncan Ferguson, Vinnie Jones, even Dennis Bergkamp was a bit of “shithouser”
Chopper Harris of Chelsea. Clough was a twat, by the way.
@@arturotraveller3761 As someone once said "Every team had their hard men, but Leeds had eleven of them."
just look how good peter lorimer was world class
Leeds fans are loud, thats about it.
It's a very unfriendly place to go, away fans aren't welcome in any pub near to the ground, not that there are many pubs!
The ground itself is old. Apart from the big stand the rest of it is rubbish, not even championship level.
Leeds fans are well known for being badly behaved, still living in the 80s. That's why for such a big city Leeds get such poor support.
Poor support? 😂 OK mate
Think he’s a little obsessed with the mighty Leeds probably supports a lesser team in Yorkshire
@@jackthelad5366 that's the attitude of Leeds fans that makes the rest of Yorkshire laugh.
Like I said, Leeds is the biggest city in Yorkshire and only has one club.
Sheffield is smaller, has two clubs but the two clubs combined can pull in 60k regularly whereas Leeds struggle to get 36k when they aren't doing well
@@steve-kl9iv ha how did I know 😂 any other Yorkshire team could win the champions league 10 years in a row and still wouldn’t be as famous as Leeds, we are head and shoulders above the rest of Yorkshire as a football team and as a city, now give the Samaritans a bell and cry to them
@@jackthelad5366 how are Leeds famous? 😂
Nice one mate.
