This is a fantastic (in every sense) piece. So sad to hear that this wonderful composer and conductor has passed away. RIP

This is the score to a nightmare I once had. But Hakan is still amazing. An inspiration, even if I won't sleep very well tonight..

Spannende Uraufführung dieses technisch anspruchsvollen Werks voller Virtuosität aller Instrumente. Der Ton der Solotrompete klingt echt mysteriös.

I was in the audience that evening in Frankfurt. With some light effects or a picture show this would've been even more impressive. Håkan is the Master of contemp. music. He's got such a variety of colours to his tone. The contrast between the subtle mysterious "jazzy" parts and the brutal steely clear parts is brillant.

Great music doesn’t need light effects or pictures.

This music reminds me of the art of Picasso and Jackson Pollock, and the improvisations of Cecil Taylor and Ornette Coleman. It would be a real treat to have this portrayed as a multimedia work overlaid with art.

What audience is this kind of shit for?
I love classical music, and Hardenberger is amazing but who honestly enjoys listening to stuff like this?

Listening to this wonderful music takes you an amazing phantasmagorical journey into an astounding soundscape; It fires the imagination and gets the blood pumping, taking you out of your humdrum existence into a world of infinite possibility. If you have the imagination, that is.
But there "sn't "a tune you can whistle"...

Listening to this is worse than water boarding. How is this regarded as music?

if u really want to listen to tonal music please go search something that appears before 1940. This is how most new composition music sounds like rn excluding music that is composed base on other eras of music.

The BiG I highly doubt Benjamin Franklin himself would appreciate this “music.”

Can't just enjoy this music like pop songs... You need to try put this piece in context and understand the feelings behind the score

Listening to it is fine. The thought of having to prepare and go countless times through it for the concert is repulsive though.
