I have quite a few "sets" of serial number in order to the next bill , hope am making sense of describing this , just set them aside, and look for star notes or number sequence order. Am new doing this. Enjoyed this video Thanks
Thank you ! Yes, you can pull them out and sell them for a couple dollars, they are the low end so I throw them back in and just keep it if the number is elevated by about half its height. The ones you saw are a dime a dozen. Not rare.
Ok. So I have a 2022 $20 bill I cane across in my change with serial NL 00002000 R No star. There was website that had a "cool factor" rating system. This one came out at a cool factor of 99.6%. Is this a legit site for determining if it's "fancy" or not?
Sort of but not really. It’s just a guide as to the rarity of a bills numerical pattern. In the niche, some rarer patterns don’t sell for more rare patterns. In a lot of my longer videos, I provide a list of fancies that you can pause and do a screenshot.
That is a great find that's what a lot of collectors are looking for that is worth sending out to have graded but that's another story you are lucky believe me do not sell it for chip.
Yes it has tremendous value, is very rare, and is highly sought after. Go to eBay, enter near solid in search, click “sold items” and see what a similar condition note sells for.
@Currency Collector Searcher, I have to admit, I've been inspired by your posts, I have some bank straps I picked up at my local bank to look through as well!
The value is based mostly on the numbers. If you have a radar note and the letters are the same on both ends, that can add a little more value as it would be a true radar.
Hello there! Would you mind doing a video what the different names of of numbers, symbols and letters are called! I know a couple, like serial numbers!
Hi Kathy-it depends. If the sales price is less than $20, you can send in PWE with tracking for 1 oz. At 63 cents currently. If the sales price is over $20, that is not available and it’s usually around $4.00-$4.50, depending on the zip code you’re shipping to. I usually charge .75 for under $20 and $4.50 over $20. Hope that helps.
There are so many factors that affect value. I would suggest going on eBay sold items and search Star notes and find some that are like yours to get an estimate of value. Remember-condition matters!!!
I have found four 2013 B series that have a matching pair that is still out there. I also have a binary and working on getting the matching Pair now. 6 days left in the auction. Fingers crossed. Wish me luck.. lol
@@CurrencyCollector-jw6bn Thank you for the reply, and sharing these videos. Has helped me a lot. I have a pile of good bills I need to put up. A lot of 7s, and 8s trinary. Every dollar counts. Lol
I'm really glad my videos are helping you--there's a LOT to this. Those 7s and 8s are two of the most highly collectible numbers so you have some good ones it sounds like. Many times a matching set does sell for more than if the two were sold individually. Let us all know how it goes.

They should have different letters before or after the numbers or the series (year) at the bottom are different. If you have the same serial number and the same year and same letters before and after the serial number, let me know.
Hello there, thanks for watching! Great question--that is called an "Overinking of Green Treasury Seal" and that's what PCGS Banknote places on the label on their graded notes.
You're giving some bad information telling people to throw out all unique digit numbers the one you had is a 0 through 7 complete scattered broken ladder it's worth money I've sold several of them
It is just a scattered ladder, it was not broken. Broken (still all unique) would skip a digit. Everyone messes that up. So far just about everyone on RUclips.🤣
It’s a six of a kind. You can search eBay sold items to get an approximate value. Remember, condition matters. Gas pump is secondary and doesn’t really affect value.
I recently found two sequential 2021 star notes as part of a 500k run!
I purchased a Bank Strap, it had 38 running serial numbers, perfectly crisp, and 1 Palindrome, and 3 star notes..Happy Me
Wow now that’s a great find!!! And to include a palindrome and Star notes. Thanks for sharing.
Got 97 missing 3.
Hay you threw away a broken ladder at the beginning
I probably did, I don’t keep the super low end stuff and if the note was in worn condition I probably didn’t even mention it. Thanks for watching!

Some of the notes I saves is not worth no more than face value....I will go through them....I lean from each of your videos!....thanks!..again
Really appreciate that!! Thank you.
What is a W,T etc at end of series of #s. Are they worth money? Thank you.
I sold an ink well Contamination, found some nice radars and a 2013 duplicate star note.
Hi Todd, thanks for sharing. Ink wells are hard to find-good for you! Thanks for watching!!!

Surprised that all odd or all even digits is not more popular. Dont see a ton of those.
