One thing not mentioned is that multiple "fancies" make the banknote more rare...example. Alone a triple _ double is worthless, but add a high Gas pump and that makes it more rare...or a quad and a 4-digit ladder by itself is not rare, but combine them into the same SN...that makes them more rare, a worthless SN combined with an uncirculated note may be worth something. So, to be crystal clear, you REALLY believe that a person would rather spend actual money on a HOBBY that they don’t have time to do instead of spending that same money on things that are actually collectible? You think someone who doesn’t have time to look through their own wallet would be better buying 5 trinaries for $10 each? I think you are confused as to what a “hobby” is. What happens when this “collector” decides to cash out his collection of 100 trinaries at a local coin shop and finds out that the $1000 he spent turns out to be worth face value? Actual collectors are very appreciative of this information. Sellers hate me for telling the truth. You tell me… How much is a trinary worth? Name your price. Very good video thank you I collect what i Iike
Always collect what you like!
I have $125 1977 uncirculated consecutive numbers, never been searched $1 bills.
Nice
maybe times are changing since its so popular now ? maybe serial numbers that use to be on the splitting edge like quads or broken ladders are now worth something? most people dont want to go get straps of $100 and search or dont have the time so they just buy the ones they want??? its not 1985 any more man!!
I have seen people claim upwards of $10!!! I have 1000 of them. You can have them for $5 each. That’s half price!!! You can double your investment if you REALLY BELIEVE they are worth something. But you know they are worthless. They are easy to sell to people who don’t know. And, most importantly, they are easy to find. That’s why they are worthless.
@@Stuplubakcurrency i understand what your saying but who is the god that sets the laws for fancy serial numbers? i am just saying just because its been that way for a long time doesnt mean it has to stay the same as far as what qualifies as an official serial number thats worth money ? the worth of a serial number is determined by the people who buy the bills so if a broken ladder is selling for 15$ and people are buying it and are satisfied then i guess its a fancy serial number that has more than face value!! oh and people are lazy and lots of people would rather just have it delivered and pay a few bucks rather than go threw the time and hassle of hunti
ng coins or bills !!
@@kcleach9312 The law would be that of supply and demand. Not only are these notes easy to find, more are available with every new print run. The buyers you are referring to BELIEVE these to be worth money because they watch videos of eBay sellers highlighting their own scams… I mean sales. No reputable coin shop would be caught dead selling this crap. And YOU know this! What makes a note valuable? Rarity. If 10 idiots pay $100 for a note with 3 zeros on it, that doesn’t mean notes with 3 zeros are worth $100. It means there are 10 idiots out there. Showing these 10 eBay sales doesn’t change how rare or common a note is. It just highlights someone else’s stupidity. Some people join in on the scam and re enforce this idea in videos to profit from lazy people who don’t do research and put their trust in these RUclipsrs. You may say that’s their own fault for falling for it. But that is the same as siding with hackers because people don’t properly understand how to protect computers. That’s like siding with the phone scammers who prey on the elderly because they just aren’t aware. Pick your side. I call out these scammers and help people to not get ripped off. I’m guessing you are on the side of the sellers who think it’s just fine to rob stupid people. I sure hope one of your relatives doesn’t fall for this crap because they know you collect money. Imagine a relative on a fixed income spending hundreds of dollars on this crap to surprise you at Christmas. They could have just given you the $300 they spent on 20 partial ladders. Instead, they are out $300 and you have 20 spenders.
Glitch in the matrix? 🐎
Great video.
Is there anyway I can get a copy of this.?
You can share the link with anyone.
I'm I have a ladder that has almost perfect I'm missing one number of being a perfect ladder and it's a 2003 series A
A85476326B is this worth anything
Didn't know if it would be worth anything
I don’t see what you are talking about. Nothing is in order and there are repeated digits.
I was just wondering if anyone got the new 2021 $1.00 bills yet?
I haven’t but there are people on RUclips that have.
@@Stuplubakcurrency Heck I thought that you might be one of the first to get one in one of your strap searches! I'm sure that you will find one soon!!!
Hey when did youtube start using people's e-mail addresses instead of real names? God I haven't seen MEMO in like 20 years around here! I like going by my name Chris Padrich better. I wonder if instead of giving people a thumbs up or down if they will go back to the rating system again🤔
I finally found a one dollar on June 1st. Still looking for the five dollars yet.
@Chris Padrich not sure about if RUclips will ever go back to ratings, but they went with the at people in 2022. When I first joined RUclips, I just used my name, however, since I started posting currency, I went with a different name.
Found one about 10 days ago
All of my Fancy bills are ...worthless!🤣😂
Just not fancy!
@@Stuplubakcurrency No, I dreamed that it was "Fancy"!🙄🙃Yes, I have one with a star - I figured it out - it is NOT "fancy", too!🥲
You keep saying "I don't agree with the values" But then you don't say why you don't agree with the values. Do you think it's worth more than they're saying here on this chart, or do you think it's worth less? please just please explain
Um… there are huge context clues. Like when I say “The book says $50 and it’s probably a little high, more like $20-$40”. The book used eBay sales to determine value. Unfortunately, newbie’s tend to buy things with lower prices figuring they will take a chance on an item without doing any research. That’s why you see scammers selling trinaries for $5-$10 and why this book will quote sales for them. No actual dealer would sell these.
I have a $20 bill with , 79999997 year , 2013A
Nice. A super radar!
Wow a 38 minute hypocritical rant. Someone got but hurt but when your wrong your wrong. The length of this video say's it all. MORE OPINIONS you dont dictate whats collectable or valuable to someone else. Say it with me in my opinion.
Math is not an opinion
I know take you book and your website down to the coin dealer you mentioned. Go threw his shop and tell them how to price stuff and how there scamming people.
And if your gonna say the coin dealer goes by this it will explain a lot.
@@kjay3058 Stop your bitching and put your money where your mouth is. Buy my stuff and DOUBLE your money if you believe it’s worth something. If not, you have nothing to say.
I forgot you were trying the scam your preaching about. I never said anything about buying something you had not sure of your point or scam. But make a video of you checking coin dealer prices with your book and website please. Practice what you preach
I got fantsy 77734000what to say
Not really a fancy.
What would you call me this? A 59111159 A. At first I thought trinary
First I call it face value. It’s a trinary. It’s quad 1s. It’s a 2 digit book end. If the last 5 and 9 were reversed it would be a radar. It’s almost a radar but it’s not. So it’s almost worth money but it’s not. For me, it would go in my box of quads hopefully to find a match. Quads are less common compared to trinaries. That’s why I would put it there.
Do not listen to this dude!!! He assumes that every serial number is available to be found in the “stacks” do you know how much currency is destroyed everyday lowering your chances of finding the serial number that there is “8 out of a thousand” of them making them “not rare”. I went through 5 straps and didn’t find 1 quad “86333328”. But as he says you should find at least 3 and he guarantees this!? lol! Stop giving off inaccurate information and discouraging everyone from buying the serial numbers that they want, are you trying to get people to not take these notes out of circulation to better your odds in finding them? lol dont worry what other People are buying and mind your own 👻
You’re funny! Yes, every day they destroy currency. And every day they print more. There are more “fancy serial numbers every day! You gave up looking after 5 straps. I search 10 straps a week! If you want to see how common these are, watch ANY of my weekly strap searches and count how many I find. Stop scamming people.
By the way, what do you sell, what do you tell people that they are worth and, most importantly, how much do you pay for them? Say the word, name your value, and I will find you hundreds. Unless, of course, you don’t buy notes because they are easy to find in circulation for face value.
