I truly believe James Blunt is one of the most underrated artists of our time, always such power and meaning behind his lyrics. As a college student in Canada who just finished his prerequisites and is enrolled for nursing next year this song really motivated and inspired me to try the best I can so one day I can help on those front lines. Stay safe everyone, and be kind and respectful in times like these. At the end of the day we are all human fighting this together. And as a current full-time grocery worker, please keep the distance, it is all we have to protect ourselves we are just as worried as you.

I cried all the way through this song. I know how it feels to watch my 23 year old son (with high-functioning Asperger's) go to work to stock shelves at our grocery store every night, (all night). He comes home in the morning and throws his clothes into the washer, then showers...he is afraid, but brave and determined to help in some way. I never dreamed that he would have to live through something like this. Being a parent and not being able to fix what is wrong for your children is heartbreaking. I am so proud of the men and women, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, who are doing whatever they can to make our world safer. This song touches my heart so much. This is so beautiful! I’m a carer, I work in a nursing home with dementia patients. My nursing home is currently on lockdown for three weeks. I’ve had to leave my 1 year old daughter for three weeks. I miss my family more than anything. BUT the elderly need me more right now💔 stay safe everyone.

Delivering meals and donating supplies. People are stepping up and volunteering to work by our side. I cry at the kindness and generous support that comes through my facility doors each day. I was lucky enough to meet him a couple of years ago when he toured with Ed Sheeran. I left right before Ed took the stage to get in line for a meet and greet. I was the last person in line to meet James and it gave me a few extra minutes to talk to him. He was so incredibly sweet and I enjoyed our conversatio so much.. He took a picture with me and signed my Beat headphones. (I told him how I listen to music about 10 hours a day due to recovering from many, many surgeries which left me having to re-learn how to walk). I walked back to my seat to watch Ed perform and I kept thinking about how happy I was to have met James. I'll forever be a fan for his kindness. 💕

If you know anything about history, you will know that your great grandparents, or your great great grandparents survived a similar pandemic almost 100 years ago, after the Great War which ended in 1918, millions more people died and it lasted for two to three years. It took years for the world to recover and then there was another war. I was hoping to be reassuring but it's not coming out that way at all. I was a teenager in the eighties and life was so easy back then. My grandparents lived through those times though and they survived and raised their families and life became better. I'm not a doctor, or a nurse, either, my job isn't essential but I'm grateful to be working. And I'm part of the human race. well part of humanity because nobody wins at being a human so it's silly to call it a race, isn't it. Was the middle 2006 I listened James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" and "Same Mistake" those songs saved me from suicide, I was living in an abusive marriage been blackmailing by my husband, he made all the possible to mess with my independence, that couple songs made me strong each I play them, took me some more years but I left him, was beat harassed, had fear, even still not forget myself for bad choices I made and stay for so longer risking my own life I starting make my life again late found my soulmate we're old now and living apart (that's another story), just is like Mr. Blunt's songs evolved with my life; now bring me peace and joy, just wanted to say THANK YOU @JamesBlunt for be a special part of my life and for saved me from suicide, God bless you

Thank you, James, from this labour and delivery nurse. My team was the first to safely deliver a COVID-19 patient weeks ago, it seems like a million years ago. We aren't heroes and we didn't sign up for this, we're spraying our shoes with bleach and stripping in the garage and staying in hotel rooms to avoid exposing our families, we didn't sign up for this but we're doing it because there's no on else to take our place. James Blunt always gives me the goosebumps listening to his songs. He has the gift of touching people's hearts. I'm forever a fan of such a soulful and great man.
I was lucky enough to meet him a couple of years ago when he toured with Ed Sheeran. I left right before Ed took the stage to get in line for a meet and greet. I was the last person in line to meet James and it gave me a few extra minutes to talk to him. He was so incredibly sweet and I enjoyed our conversatio so much.. He took a picture with me and signed my Beat headphones. (I told him how I listen to music about 10 hours a day due to recovering from many, many surgeries which left me having to re-learn how to walk). I walked back to my seat to watch Ed perform and I kept thinking about how happy I was to have met James. I'll forever be a fan for his kindness. 💕

I'm so sorry that you kids have to live through these scary times, at such a young age. If you know anything about history, you will know that your great grandparents, or your great great grandparents survived a similar pandemic almost 100 years ago, after the Great War which ended in 1918, millions more people died and it lasted for two to three years. It took years for the world to recover and then there was another war. I was hoping to be reassuring but it's not coming out that way at all. I was a teenager in the eighties and life was so easy back then. My grandparents lived through those times though and they survived and raised their families and life became better. I'm not a doctor, or a nurse, either, my job isn't essential but I'm grateful to be working. And I'm part of the human race. well part of humanity because nobody wins at being a human so it's silly to call it a race, isn't it. And this song, is for you young ones, also, you are our future and even small people can become heroes or do heroic deeds, even if it's just making someone a cup of tea. The good thing is Vietnamese gorvement is doing their best to prevent this pandemic from spreading among the community. We have no new case in past 36 hours.
Just stay at home if you dont need to go out. That helps alot

This song is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. This song gives me strength, but also makes me weak, (in a good way) it gives me hope, it gives me purpose and it brings me happiness.
