Shawn, you have a knack for snagging fantastic covers at amazing prices! Btw MOFU is such an underrated run! Great stories and artwork by various artists. So cool you got them for a buck apiece. It’s costing me anywhere between two to six dollars a book. I am slowly completing that run where I left off back in the 70s.
Nothing beats a search through the discount bins,(we don't do dollars,lol )so many great pick ups are possible ? Love the 70s style art in the Shang chi books,big nostalgic hit for me as I had quite a lot of that run in the black and white UK reprints in the 70s,they were a weird sideways type of comics with the staples on the shorter side ?
Yeah digging through a cheap bin of comics hunting for the hidden gems is always a blast. I have a few sideways comics like that, maybe they were newspaper comic reprints?
@@pop-comics I don't think so, British comics were just weird ? I got half a dozen marvel titles either weekly ,fortnightly or monthly ? I can't remember ? It was a few years behind the American releases but the same story's just published in black and white ? And sideways,lol,I still looked forward to the next ones being released and devoured them by reading each multiple times ? Ps. Sorry I missed the live,I always like to catch them if possible
Those MoKF (Master of Kung Fu) look to be in pretty good condition -- I have most of the run (it was Special Marvel Edition starring MoKF #15-16, then #17 - 125), and you had a couple there that could fill in some gaps in my collection. Great video!
For a collector, this is the most peaceful thing I could listen to and watch!!! Oh, I won some big books on whatnot this weekend!!!lol. Are you gunna get back on it soon?
So happy to finally catch a live, I have by accident purchased an art book in Chinese as well. After buying a lot of japanese books over the years I now know the difference. I still have the book since the art is still beautiful. The other manga that came with bakuman is in japanese, though.(Aria the scarlet ammo) I took another look at the video to check. love all the sheer quantity of videos I have so much stuff to watch now
Forget all that negativity you do you. love going through all these comics with you.

Yeah I love hunting down the best comic covers I can get for the best price. And yeah Master Of Kung Fu is just too good to pass up at $1.
