Hey! So I think you should get both the practice tests and the study guide. But if you can only get one, get the practice tests for sure. Take your first test as you get 6 altogether and see where you are. Once you see your weak areas, go to those areas on the study guide and review those. I was working 50-60 hours a week and missed the deadline to recertify. I went to MA school in 1989! I have to take the test before November 1, 2022.
Oh wow okay… do you have the study guide and practice tests?
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK No. Watching multiple refresher videos. I've worked for the past 33 years in internal med, general and family med, cardiology, and orthopaedics and sports medicine. I've worked in lab and I'm also a personal trainer and sports nutritionist. Praying for a good outcome. I have to certify with the AAMA.
@@teresahunt5521 Let me know how it goes!
@@MedicalAssistingwithMsK I will! Thank you!
I wish I was able to afford the study guide for NHA CCMA, I’m only able to afford the test itself nothing else. Money is tight currently.
I understand… just take advantage of as many free resources as you can. If you go to the Smarter MA website they have a free version of the practice test you can take as well as a couple of videos. If you are not already, you can join my medical assistant group on Facebook called the medical assistant lounge, and you will find some study material in the files section.
I can't get unto amt I forgot the web@ight
