Just screw a pedal attaching screw into the pedal shaft with a penny washer on it to hold the socket into the nut, it will not pull out then, much more positive attachment, no chance to damage the crank adjustment nut
What's interesting in the several videos I've watched on this subject is no one checks the bike to see if it can actually have a mid-drive motor. Bafang has several paper gauges and such that are used to see if a bike is suitable for a mid-drive. They measure clearance with the frame, the bracket size etc. to see if the kit will work. Odd.
I would have definitely used locktite on that motor ring as you can only fit one on it due to your bottom bracket size. If that comes loose it'll be bad news!
@@georose33 I don't really fancy the idea of these. One ring with grub screws that'll bite into the thread isn't it? I've had no issues with loctite and lots of torque.
Bro would you kindly share me the list of special tools needed for the installation of bafang e-bike kit. Include pls. the tools to dismantle the existing parts of a bike. Thanks and more power.
14:00 why didn't he use "special tool" included in the kit, to tighten that nut? Even though it's pretty crappy, it's still better than that old school bottom bracket wrench he used.
I've washed at least 4/5 videos of this motor being installed....what you never see is that sh🤬 light installed. I hooked mine up,...either it's broken or I can't figure out how to turn it on.
Wow this dude(or woman) knows nothing as he guesses what the parts are when pulling out of the box🙄. Take caution anyone that is assembling and listens to this person
Lots of videos that show you how to put this together but this is the best it’s the only one that got my motor istalled
Nice job making a special tool. I had to cut off the none drive side pedal arm. Finally a Vedic that shows it being hard.
Thanks dude, I just finished with my setup and now it's time for riding and testing.

Use a ratchet or breaker bar on the hub nut and have it on the left side so your pushing down. 👍

Decent video - well done !

Or use the Lekkie one nut. But it looks like the lock nut had enough threads to install.

Nice job. Where did you get the grip thrtottle ? That's cool !
How i wish to have this bafang motor.
You might want to put the sticker over the engraved 750w if you want to make it "legal" 🤦♂️
any links for the kit you used ? 👍
Aliexpress website sells all different type of kits.
nut breaker bar long easy

He’s clueless
@@Themostdef100 He's missing most of the tools that would make this simple process even easier.
There is already a special tool or two, impact gun or breaker bar.
6:04 oh bro…use a socket with extension you’re killin me gonna strip the shit outta your bottom bracket

But I don't have a bicyckle.

Hold down the + button on your controller.
I have 2 BBSHD bikes, that crap light was trashed on both. It's pretty bad.

The can music is so annoying , , unnecessary, just play "real music" much softer next video...

And the way he throws the brand new parts on the bench shows he does not know much.
