Tim was probably contractually obligated to get fat before working with Dr. Steven Brule because Steve Brule has and always will refuse to work with hunks.
haha right on. yeah i see your point its an inside thing to us Tim and Eric fans but, i think also, it is a testament to their ability to seem like they arent acting at all while tapping into ideas that they seem to go back and revisit with different added little subtleties. crAzy stuff .
It’s very compelling how Tim and Eric utilize trauma in their works. Tim went to Allentown Central Catholic School which is near where I live, and I don’t doubt that this interaction isn’t far off from one or many that he had in the past at that school. So many of their works seem to highlight trauma and the scared, weird, inner child that trauma can create, especially in lower middle-class suburbia which I personally relate to on a huge scale. So many of their works involve people clearly plagued by trauma and disorder which has turned them into their weird, awkward inner child; Dr. Brule, Casey Tatum, Taquito, Gibbons, probably Scott Clam (look at me and tell me that man has not seen horrible things), and so many others. So many sketches have to do with neglect of children, whether emotional or literally feeding them poison or selling them off as clowns. Many involve abusive, narcissistic parents or guardians and they portray them with such accuracy and emotion that there’s no way they didn’t experience many of the things they write about, albeit not as exaggerated obviously.
Excellent comment. When I heard him begin the prayer I said to myself there is no way he did not go to Catholic School. I did as well in lower middle class Detroit until grade 5. What year do you figure this is from?
Lol how he says the Our Father like he doesn't care. I think that's really funny because I went to catholic school and that's how the teachers would say the prayers before class. So funny wow
I'm so confused he looks young but the animated cut out looks like him in the future...this show is on so many levels, back stories and references and the time mix up if you pay attention is crazy throughout the years on all the related shows. I am starting to see T&E influence I think in music videos but I'm not sure.
1:08 Hahahahaha Tim nailed the subtle awkwardness right from the start. Also love how both times they sing Tim sings "notebook" and Eric sings "notebooks"
Heh, really? He's pretty good-looking here, but I find him most attractive now; the extra weight now just shows off his more natural look. But I guess I've always been attracted to the husky look. Hah.
DAAANNNNGG, Tim was looking good enough for a poke
hahaha yea. if i was gay id go for tim lmfao
It is trick photography. Jared Leto doing a stand-in
For real lmfao I was thinking the same
Save me a bite
@@chrisbbbbchris1 thankfully I'm a bit bi
It's amazing how they make a story come alive on a projector
What better way to show love for thy neighbor than displaying a giant throbbing erection?
This is somehow more unsettling than anything else Tim and Eric have done.
Tim sounds like an actual theology teacher.
Tim was probably contractually obligated to get fat before working with Dr. Steven Brule because Steve Brule has and always will refuse to work with hunks.
Lol, awesome comment.
Dangus.
I love how the little puppet Tim looks like Tim during the B$M promo tour even though this was filmed probably 10 years prior

Everyone here is ogling over Tim, but Eric is gorgeous himself. Hair, voice, glasses, and that void expression
Number one handsome boy
may the luck of the Irish smile onya but Tim's am the most handsome
All very surreal -- Tim was in my HS Theology class for at least two years...
Did Tim really go to Catholic school?
@@JosiahSchmidt yes
how do they have mini versions of their future selfs
natrag spar they defy reality.
Tim and Eric are eternal
Actually though, future Tim is right out of On Cinema.
They got those tiny selves from Tiny Selves.
- Paul and his letters to the Romans. Who was Paul writing to?
- The Romans
- Yes, that's correct.
Saw that one coming, but it still made me laugh. Oh it's you again!

2:59 sounds like a piece from the song “Hamburgers and Hot Dogs” by Casey.
Exactly what I came to say
03:00 that music.... "hamburgers and hot-dogs too, I'd like to have a barbecue."
Tim was fucking adorable.

Amazing delivery by Timothy
Hamburgers and Hotdogs @ 2:59
So close to sexual deviance.... Then nothing. I love it.
I love tim and eric fat or skinny they are awesome
great job!
I love manual animation and I love Tim and Eric
I wanna say this is the strangest I've seen of Tim and Eric... And that's DEFINITELY saying something
It seems like the basis for Tom Goes to the Mayor.
why do tim and eric always try to mind fuck me with their sketches? capiche
I'd rate young tim 5 bags of popcorn and 4 cups of soda
I'd give 5 bags of soda.
My child: Do you have any stories about school dad?
Me: *pulls out projector, friend comes over and start drawing and talking*
Damn. Tim was a stud.

awesome. it all becomes hilarious as soon as they step outside. what year was this made?
The artiste remark is such a plausible thing for that character to say. How does Tim do that?
Haha, I see here that most people prefer this Tim. I think Tim looks absolutely hot now, that extra weight is cute!
I was just thinking that! Both of them.
Father Mulligan seems like a pretty cool guy. I like how they twisted it.
Tom's life never gets better, jefferton won't be ready for an entrepreneur :(
So basically Superbad just stole this bit.....I see.
Superbad came out way earlier
No it didn't lol this is from like 2000

tim was devilishly handsome
2:59 - pretty sure that's the riff where 'Hamburgers and Hotdogs' originated from...!

yes look up "bottle of wine" tim heidecker haha
I love this! If you have more old stuff of them please post it!
Didn't they make one where they were playing tennis then in like the showers or some shit? I remember the line "that is good tennis".
“That’s good tennis” is from ooh mama
Tim was actually very good lookin before he put weight on lol. Great job daniel
He put on the weight for his art. DeNiro advised him.
He did get stabbed
He still looks good to me
He aged very well. He looks great now!
Yes.
that IS good tennis
why is this so beautiful?
Tim is so handsome for a man
If you Google Young Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, I think there's a picture of Eric holding a blue cup showing that he used to be kind of hot too.
"We were talking about Paul's letters to the Romans, Can you tell me who Paul was writing to?"
Brilliant!!
and he got even hotter
The song sounds like something Ivor cutler would write/perform
Is that Tim or kyle reese?
Before the opulent jet set lifestyle got to them
