After doing some checking I think the parts list should be: Lock # 277002010 Rubber Stopper # 29383005 The parts in the comments are already part of the factory gtx 130 pro
Forrest, I bought the 2022 model...was wondering, do you miss having trim? Not sure that I do. Also, have you ever thought of having it flash tuned up to 170hp? And also, have you thought about installing a depth finder?
I don't miss trim... Partially because of my riding style (I really love rough weather) and because it doesn't have the huge back deck like my fish pro, so I don't tend to submarine in following seas. I have thought of tuning it up. Comparing the engine part numbers, it is identical in every way to my 170 horsepower fish pro. Same Pistons, same rings, same bearings, same wrist pins, same fuel rail, same injectors.... Of all the upgrades I want to do, adding a GPS and fish finder are at the very top. I guess I haven't done it because my fish pro already has it and I tend to ride that boat more often.
Not sure - the GTX and GTI platforms are different and I only know the GTX. If the non-rental GTI has adjustable height, tho, you should look at the steering parts schematics for each version of your model and see what differences there are... my guess is it's a very similar circumstance.
I am trying to figure out how to lubricate my steering system. Would I need to take these panels off to add the marine grease ? Can't find an exact video for it. 22 rxtx
Hey Forrest, Are you happy with those Rental GTX 130 skis? Anything else you have done or would do besides the tilt steering, usb, speakers, extra battery and tender? I'm considering buying the gTX 130 as well
@@Forrest-Jackson I ended up buying the GTX 130'S. No fishing yet, but it is on my wish list. The family and I are enjoying riding them for now. I did buy the usb adapters and tilt parts. Hope to do the upgrades this winter as well as normal maintenance. Thank you for sharing so so we can all learn from eachother.
@@ronniestroh Excellent! I've been happy with mine - I ride my FishPro mostly, but those 130's keep up in anything but glassy water. Just went camping for 4 days up on the Canadian border (Patos Island) and my camp-buddies really enjoyed cruising on them as much as I do... Those GTX's are good boats!

I finally got a chance to verify this and you are absolutely right. Thank you! Updated parts numbers in the description!
Thank you so much for sharing a very useful upgrade with the community.
You're welcome!

Amazing! Excellent instructions!
I wonder if it's a similar process on the 2020 GTI's I am in a similar situation and tilt steering would be a great improvement

Great job man!
Thank you! Cheers!

I don't believe so, though I am unfamiliar with the RXT platform.
How can I get expose the steering column ? I want to change my steering wearings on the column
Hmm. Not sure. Mine is cable steering so I'm not clear which bearings you're referring to...
Thanks
Can i install the usb to this GTX PRO 130?
Yep.

I am happy with them... they're very solid and a good value. I haven't had any trouble from them, either.

@@ronniestroh That's great! I hope you're having a fun summer!!!
I would also like to know if the powered wiring harness is under the front cowl so you can add the factory speakers. Has anyone tried this?
