Saw the oil catch can on it. A must have for any supercharged engine. Have the same ski for my wife. Other ski is a RXT 300. Stage 1 plus kit and a tune. Rocket ship. Cant wait for winter to be over in Chicago... Keep up the good videos guys!
@@Tommytakanawa Yes. A supercharged Sea-Doo will need the catch can. Here is a GREAT explanation why. ruclips.net/video/MhUQxEl71t0/видео.htmlsi=DJn85Sdjhw5hCing
@TheOceansideGuy don't mean to tie up all your time but is there a specific oil catch can you would reccomend? Have a 2018 gtr 230 40 hours on it. The Riva seems a bit expensive but If it's worth the money ill get it.
Yes, I observed that. I assume there is no toque spec for the new install, just shady tree mechanic hand tight and let the red loctite keep it from backing out. 🙂 @@TheOceansideGuy
Hey just a quick tip. Never show the license plate of anything in a video. Someone can look that up and find out where that machine is. Same with the hull numbers. Don't ever show those on a video. Thanks for making this video.
Riva loks nearly same like stock, no big diferent ,some milimetars , drivers can not to feal diferent ,i am shure driving jet skies 15 year fixing ,playin . No diferent with this
When test driving with the RIVA intake grate and comparing one Seadoo without it and this Seadoo with it, there was a pig difference on how it felt and how it drove.
The runabouts of today are called couches in the freestyle/freeride community. They might as well be a boat, not a pwc. So, in layman's terms ti haven't known a big ass ski to be referred to as a amazing machine especially a seadont.
@TheOceansideGuy um no not with all the problems they have. They remind me of the apple Corp of the sea. I don't like apple either lol. My aunts gtx's have been nothing but problems my neighbors seadoo nothing but problems but his waverunner never has had a problem. With that said all these new skis are boring couches

Very well done video. Interesting to watch the process.
Thank you. We had fun doing the install. Thanks for watching!
hey.. what is that wrap you've done to the Ski ? it looks awesome!!! Where can I get it from and do you have an install video ?
That was a self made install.
Great time for the riva catch can and JP performance 4 in intake 😂
Got the catch can already. Love it!
I think you could leave the music out.
Ya. Too loud. Thx for the feedback.
@TheOceansideGuy no hate bro. Just my internet opinion.

awesome video, make the job super easy after watching this! Thanks
Very cool! Glad the video helped. Thank you for watching and for a commenting.
What size wrench do i need for that front bolt under the shaft ? Thanks
Use an adjustable wrench for that
I noticed that you had a torque wrench out on the tool desk but you never used it to torque any bolts or nuts?
We did a hand tightening and used red Loctite as you saw in the video.

@@angelone7202 when youre good, you dont need a torque wrench. You can feel the bolts
I need this kinda intake grate information, thank you God bless.
Excellent. Glad the video helped. What is it that you were mostly looking for about the intake grate?
@TheOceansideGuy what is the aftermarket part he's removing at the 6:09 mark?
He created manufactured his own Ski pylon . To pull an innertube or anything behind the Sea-Doo.
@@TheOceansideGuy Very cool!

Thanks for the tip.
Nice! Those riva parts are not cheap though!😅
Ha ha no not cheap. But it helps when a family member gives you a great Christmas "Gift"
Deric,
Will that crate increase speed ??
I'm sure RIVA also makes those crates for Kawasaki and Yamaha correct ??
Very helpful video ??
- Cheers
I watched a video with Kevin from WCJ who said the grate actually slows the top end slightly when compared to stock.
Hi Gil. Does not increase speed. Just more efficient on pushing the water thru the impeller.
@@TheLogicprouser It can because the RIVA Grate pushes MUCH more water and the design is much deeper.
Well how the intake work out???
I gotta say, it worked out great! Huge difference between the stock intake grate and the intake grate by RIVA. Huge riding difference.
Will it cause issues with the IDF discharge?
Not at all. You could even ask RIVA.
@@TheOceansideGuy did you notice or feel a difference with the riva grat?
definitely! I have ridden both skis, one width, and one without the intake great from RIVA. It really keeps the ski tighter to the water.
great video. Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Are you wanting to install the intake grate?
Just put mine on, still need to hit the water.
Wow, that is awesome! You will definitely feel a difference! Let me know how it goes.
