      Fresh water is nice, but nothing like exploring remote islands and coast lines

    I would recommend some snow skiing googles, polarized, they seem to work great to disperse the spray and are ventilated so don’t fog up

    Try LiP Watersports Sunglasses for your Jet Ski. Hydrophobic coatings and two stage retainer. I love them so much I have started selling them in Australia.

      They look nice. A bit more expensive than the ones I buy from Amazon. Maybe the hydrophobic coating is worth it.

    I like the floater idea for the camera. I already have one that goes on the camera itself that I use. It’s orange and floats and was a couple bucks.

    • @professionalweekenders
      @professionalweekenders  11 месяцев назад

      I've seen those before too. Does it block the microphones?

    • @PTRRanger951
      @PTRRanger951 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@professionalweekenders no. If you get the one for your model camera, then it has the cutouts for it.
      I have a perm mount on my ski and it’s the marine/surfboard mount so it comes with an extra piece that you stick on with the main mount that has a small tether with it so if the main mount fails, it is hooked to the secondary piece so you don’t lose the camera.
      On yours I would use a piece of paracord or something and put it through one of the screw areas and then loop it around the handle bars or something. So even if the suction cups come off, it will still be attached to the ski.

    • @professionalweekenders
      @professionalweekenders  11 месяцев назад

      @@PTRRanger951 I have lost the float before and was able to recover it. Since filming this I've also added an insta 360 on the invisible stick. That one I do have a cord attached to it so it stays on the ski.
      Good tips!

    We take turns riding our Yamaha. So, I just placed an order on a pair of walkie talkies that float. Got tired of taking out the cell phone when it’s plugged in for listening to music.

    what about a paddle?

  • @andreabta
    @andreabta Год назад +1

    The water pump is a good idea but it won't work properly with that little bit of water flow and pressure.
    Might be OK for some not supercharge seadoo just for exhaust... But for the intercooler I never got water to come out the indicator @ the back.... I'm using a big motor home pump and a 25lt tank under the trailer and it works great

    • @professionalweekenders
      @professionalweekenders  Год назад +1

      Great idea. Our Sea-Doos are not super charged, so I've not been able to test it. But I can say that pump filled up a 5 gal bucket in 1 minute, which is just as fast as my garden hose. Without a supercharger, there isn't much to flush on a Sea-Doo (compared to a Yamaha) which is why Sea-Doo recommends only flushing for 30-45 seconds.

      the one we have is just from Harbor Freight and its 100 feet long. I just error on the side of having more than not. We have never used the whole thing- at most, we probably used only about 40 feet.

    Worried about the gopro falling off, do chest mounts work just as good?

    • @professionalweekenders
      @professionalweekenders  Год назад +1

      I've used chest mounts in the past. They have two downsides. One, they're not easy to take off and point at your face if you want to talk to the camera. Two, I found it hard to ensure that the camera was pointing forward. It had a tendency to angle down, so I did not get the greatest footage.

    Where do you get a spare key? Our only came with 1 key each , we bought brand new

    • @professionalweekenders
      @professionalweekenders  8 месяцев назад

      You can get one from a Sea-Doo dealer. You need to take your Sea-Doo to the dealership. They program the ski to accept the key (not the other way around).

    • @mattsbrute
      @mattsbrute 3 месяца назад

      Id recommend CanDoo Pro diagnostic tool so you can program your own keys and run diagnostics on your skis. Its only $450. Your gonna spend half that getting the dealer to do multiple DESS key programs.
