The offensive and defensive coordinator of the losing team both get immediate H.C jobs. WINNING team OC has won two Super Bowls still can't get a HC job. Make that make sense!
Nobody in KC whined about the offsides call against Dee Ford that cost KC the AFC Championship vs NE. That is because HE WAS OFFSIDES. So why are people bitching about this hold. It was a CLEAR violation due to the way he was pulling on the Jersey. Had that NOT been called, that would have been a travesty and a gross decision by the official. In fact, if we really do want to advocate for the "Let them play" mindset, then people should be OUTRAGED at the Dee Ford call since he had no impact on the play whatsoever.
I don't get it: Hurts gave up 6 points on an unforce error and everybody acts like because he didn't do it a second time it was an otherworldly performance.
Funny listening to this over a year later and once again everyone thought this was the year to get them. Sounds to me like that’s going to be the thought process going forward, and we’ll just keep stacking rings 😎
This was the well-coached kids vs. the favored Brutes. The NFL is best played, now days, as keep-away, and not the "bully wins" by pre-game vote. Greg Olsen felt weelly bad. He couldn't handle an upset by the kids that listened to their coaches instead of complaining at the refs. The game passed them by.
Tell me why I'm not even surprised how high they have Trevor Lawrence dude play good for half a season had a horrible first half in the playoffs but because they ended up winning and came back it was a great performance I don't get it
Not sure I'd agree with his Warriors reference. This year GS has already lost as many games as they lost all of last season. Mainly because last year they had the #2 defense in the league and this year...well, there's a 2 at the front of the number but there's like a 7 or 8 at the end.
The eagles coaching staff told the defense not to get burned on that same fake motion play for a 3rd time so Bradbury did everything they could not to let it happen again and that was what he had to do was hold because it's too dang good of a scheme.
Has anyone notices that most of the best QBs in the NFL have had their best games against the Chiefs or at least excelled vs. KC. Is that because they rose to the occasion or because the KC defense is mediocre? Hurts... Greatest game in his career vs KC in the Super Bowl Allen 2 greatest games in losses to KC Herbert. Several very good games vs KC and no bad ones. Facing the rest of the league, he has been far more inconsistent. Lawrence. Greatest game probably vs LAC, but 2nd greatest vs KC in last seasons playoffs. Derek Carr. Always plays well, and above his norm, vs KC Most of the rest of these 10 QBs simply have not played KC much. However, KC has managed to make Lamar Jackson look very average.
As a mizzou fan in the sec and a Chiefs fan in kcmo. I thought Hurts was system guy. And tbh I think the Chiefs thought the same thing. I believe they were focused on stopping the run and making Jaylen beat him which he very well could’ve done had he got the ball. I was shocked at how good he played. He’s the real deal . I’ve always liked the kid and he’s been nothing but a leader and a team mate. Congrats philly you got something special
Why are we still discussing the hold on JuJu? When do we start talking about six rugby scrums which inflate the Eagle's game stats because they only have to get to 3rd and 2 to get first downs? Those snaps were a lot more painful to watch than the kneeldowns to end the game. Granted, they were legal plays. They won't be next season, so let's see Jalen's first down stats next season. He's won me over but I think he's just another Lamar Jackson knockoff until he shows me he can read defenses and carry the team with his arm and good decisions. I agree that Joe Burrow is dangerous, and maybe a notch above Josh Allen in reading defenses. Josh is the better multi-threat weapon while his legs last. The less we talk about Mahomes' legs, the better. He needs to run just enough to keep the pass rushers honest.

This just confirms it. The networks have a list of golden boys that they promote no matter what. Nobody on that list other than Mahommes should be listed higher than Hurts. Hurts was actually in the MVP conversation. And some how Hebert, who has accomplished absolutely nothing compared to everybody on that list (except Lawrence) is rated 4th? Really? These list aren't even a joke anymore. Just pure propaganda for the sheep.
Deliberately committing a foul for an advantage is a strategic gamble. It is a game decision made by a professional player. You don't have a right to be bailed out by the refs, the league, or the other team if it goes south. There are only two options: stop holding or be ok with getting caught. People are free to complain about inconsistent refereeing. But this particular foul has nothing to do with inconsistent refereeing.
To go back to the driving analogy, it was more like he went 5 over the limit at 1 AM on a back road….aka the ball was way over his head and he lightly grabbed him for half a second. “Penalty”….yeah sure. Not worth calling. Who wants to see a game end that way?
@@elmoslayer144 That isn't an analogy at all. It's completely unrelated to anything that happened in the super bowl. Driving 5mph over the speed limit is not a cheap and desperate attempt to gain an advantage in a competitive sport. Unlike holding a receiver during one of the most important moments of their life, driving 5mph over the speed limit doesn't take anything from anyone. Your guess about what would have happened is completely irrelevant. I don't want the end of every important game to be a chaotic free-for-all because degenerate gamblers put everything on the Eagles and forgot how sports work. Just stop holding on important plays! It's that easy.
@@meepk633 yeah so you clearly don’t understand how the analogy works. Is holding a penalty. Yes. Is speeding illegal. Yes. But when it’s that minuscule and the ball was overthrown anyways, (aka driving 5 over when no one else is even on the road) then it’s pretty lame for the cop to pull you over, or the ref to throw the flag. Offensive lineman literally hold every play, it’s only when they hold for too long do they get flagged. Was it a penalty, sure. Should it have been called, absolutely not. Could it have been called. Technically yes. What’s so wrong with wanting to see the other team get a chance to score over watching 3 QB kneel downs to end the game. That’s lame for everyone watching.
@@elmoslayer144 It was HOLDING, not DPI. Therefore, it doesn't matter if the ball was overthrown. Furthermore, Bradberry held him TWICE on the same play & ADMITTED it after the game saying he hoped the refs would let it slide. The first hold was a fistful of Juju's jersey & wasn't shown on the broadcast. The actual call was, "PRIOR TO THE SNAP, HOLDING".
@@jenniferaceste8823 ok I’m over it now that’s it’s literally months later, but 1. He’s a gentleman and team player, so of course he took blame, and 2. Again holding or DPI, who cares when the ball landed out of bounds way over both players head. Did you even read the driving analogy I used? Don’t act like offensive linemen don’t hold on literally every play. It only gets called when it’s blatant and would have actually impacted the play. A half second hold on a player after the QB throws the ball should not be called for a holding penalty. Eagles lost regardless, but you seriously enjoyed seeing the game end on a tic tak penalty?
When the Chiefs played Brady and Bucs in the Super Bowl the refs called every ticky tac defensive pass interference on the Chiefs they could. I said then “if we can’t pass defend against Brady, we can’t win”. So….Philly fans….I feel your pain.
I think they are giving Hurts way too much credit. Hurts will fall back to the pack next year. Without his running he's very average and the coaches will take away his running.

@@Toothless412 Joe Burrow and Mahomes are AFC. Jalen Hurts vs Caleb Williams for years would be awesome.
@@ClipSail Agree!!!
He won't be out till next year right?
Like it or not Nick is our guy. He’s one of the good ones. We all need a Chiefs a 2020’s dynasty. Just like the 60’s Packers. 70’s Steelers, 80’s 49’ers, 90’s Cowboys, 2000’s, and 2010’s Patriots, the Chiefs need to be the 2020’s dynasty
No. The 3rd and 15 conversion in SB v SF when they were down 10 with about 8m left. If they dont convert they likely to lose that game.
I agree, that was Mahones' best play so far.
Preach it, Nick!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Trevor Lawrence being third is ridiculous, he has had one good year and one playoff win, that’s it. He is good, but third? That’s waaaaay too high
Hurts deserves to be at 5, probably 4 if we’re being real. I know he benefits a lot from his team but that dude was killing it in the super bowl .
I'm a Chiefs fan & I think he deserves to be #2, tbh. He definitely deserves it more than JOEVERATED.
All hail the glorious Chiefs
Yea Nick! Your delivery is top notch
The offensive and defensive coordinator of the losing team both get immediate H.C jobs. WINNING team OC has won two Super Bowls still can't get a HC job. Make that make sense!
I put Hurts ahead of Josh Allen. At least this year.
Agreed. Allen turns it over too much.
Ahead of JOEVERATED too, coming from a Chiefs fan.
Mahomes took upon himself Kansas city chiefs have to win another super bowl
Mahomes is always going to come up with magical plays and ways to win. He is sooo creative and will always continue to get better!
As a Rams fan, it did feel good getting that NFC champ saints no call
rigged just like the Super Bowl
Name a better duo than nick and Colin
Love Nick!
How in the world does Cowherd have Justin Herbert ahead of Hurts? That's insane. Herbert has done NOTHING in the playoffs
First Thing First, NICKS show is the BEST Sports Show now🫡😉😁
I don't get it: Hurts gave up 6 points on an unforce error and everybody acts like because he didn't do it a second time it was an otherworldly performance.
I don’t understand how Hurts can be behind Lawrence
Yeah, the Prince Who Was Promised really should stick to Waffle House & leave the NFL to professional QB'S.
Not a huge Nick Wright fan, but great analysis on the Chiefs offense.
Colin “woah he’s outrunning guys that can run” Cowherd
I don't see how Lawrence is higher than Hurts.
Stafford over Rodgers is hilarious
Love Nick
🤣🤣🤣🤣Non-connecting flight from Phoenix to LA. Such a funny line that’s probably not appreciated.
Best segment on TV
Love Herbert think he’s crazy talented but what has he done to get put top 5
Colin's QB ranking are appalling. Allen, Lawrence, and Herbert should not be above Hurts. No way.
Should be above JOEVERATED too & I'm a Chiefs fan.
I thought Nick is going to put Mahomes with one leg at no.2
Glad to see Tom Green is still finding work.
The eagles coaching staff told the defense not to get burned on that same fake motion play for a 3rd time so Bradbury did everything they could not to let it happen again and that was what he had to do was hold because it's too dang good of a scheme.
I love Nick's honesty re: comparison to Brady. LOL
Josh Allen behind Trevor and Justin? What a joke…
Has anyone notices that most of the best QBs in the NFL have had their best games against the Chiefs or at least excelled vs. KC. Is that because they rose to the occasion or because the KC defense is mediocre?
Hurts... Greatest game in his career vs KC in the Super Bowl
Allen 2 greatest games in losses to KC
Herbert. Several very good games vs KC and no bad ones. Facing the rest of the league, he has been far more inconsistent.
Lawrence. Greatest game probably vs LAC, but 2nd greatest vs KC in last seasons playoffs.
Derek Carr. Always plays well, and above his norm, vs KC
Most of the rest of these 10 QBs simply have not played KC much. However, KC has managed to make Lamar Jackson look very average.
How can these pair and skip bayless be on the same network. Can't believe the guy literally said it wasn't special ! Finally a serious take
As a mizzou fan in the sec and a Chiefs fan in kcmo.
It's amazing how much they suck off Hurts, scoring 11 points in the 2nd half and losing is "not making any mistakes" after the fumble.
It’s amazing how far some will go to hate on the kid
I hope you all know how bad a HIGH ANKLE SPRAIN IS. .
Good lord , the scramble top 10 Super Bowl play ever 😭😭😭 recency bias is grossly shining thru 😭😭😭😭

Julian Edelman catch
Brandon Graham fumble

I see the graphics team still hasn't updated the dates that Nick releases his podcast.
It's Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Although that'll seem to change now that the NFL season is over.
Chiefs Kingdom fans are all over the place I think the Chiefs are Americas team! They are
the most fun team to watch and CBS always putting them on the air the draw the attendence.
Nick Wright is a big Chiefs fan.
The chiefs were playing chess not checkers 😁🏈🏹👈👍
excellent point
That long TD pass to AJ Brown probably should’ve been intercepted if the db hadn’t lost the ball in the air. We would’ve been looking at Hurts a little differently.
The chiefs. Just sharpened iron. With 🧇 iron. 😆🏈🏹👈👍
The Trevor Lawrence hype needs a chill a bit. Dude had 17 turnovers this year
Lol we gonna pretend like he isn't on the dumpster fire franchise Jacksonville Jaguars. His hype is all real
@@GKA11111 he’s without a doubt a great talent but I don’t think he’s top 3 yet. He was 9th in yards, tied for 7th in touchdowns, and tied with ANDY DALTON in passer rating. Not saying Andy daltons as good as him lol but there’s literally no stats that say he’s top 3
Not saying he's the 3rd best qb, but you should check how the numbers improve as the year advance.
allen had double that a the media cant and couldnt get enough of him
@Jarod Rochell do you only evaluate players off stats?
NFL needs to figure out how to get Caleb and Maye to the NFC
I’m a Washington fan but Jalen is a top 5 QB after the Super Bowl. And I imagine he’s going to continue to get better.
🙄🙄🙄
I wonder if Jalen bet on himself? Him scoring 3 TDs in the Super Bowl, according to Caesar's Palace, was a +2800 on a $100 bet!
I’d put Jalen ahead of Josh 🤷♀️
Exactly. Josh hasn't even been to one SB
@B Y Nick foles is better than Hurts by your logic
This just confirms it. The networks have a list of golden boys that they promote no matter what. Nobody on that list other than Mahommes should be listed higher than Hurts. Hurts was actually in the MVP conversation. And some how Hebert, who has accomplished absolutely nothing compared to everybody on that list (except Lawrence) is rated 4th? Really? These list aren't even a joke anymore. Just pure propaganda for the sheep.
1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Hurts
4. Allen
5. Lamar
6. Herbert
7. Lawrence
8. Rodgers
9. Deshaun
10. Stafford/Goff
I still don’t feel comfortable putting Hurts above Allen after 1 year
@@CtrlDGame That’s Fair… I’m Prolly Being A Lil Prisoner Of The Moment
@ZimMill still a much more reasonable list than Colin's lol
Switch Hurts & JOEVERATED, coming from a Chiefs fan. Hurts had an MVP vote & a better SB performance.
@@elmoslayer144
It was HOLDING, not DPI.
Same ref in both games too, Carl Cheffers.
@@jenniferaceste8823
Yep.
I think they are giving Hurts way too much credit. Hurts will fall back to the pack next year. Without his running he's very average and the coaches will take away his running.
