Hi Dave, dyk the terrible thing that happened today? Apart from not feeling great i've had no internet connection all day. My niece came over & said she'd do some hoovering & had unplugged my internet booster plug so i wasn't getting a signal which i've only just discovered.😢

There ain't no band who writes, plays and performs like Band-Maid! While I've watched Magie climb from an initial 6, when I first heard it, to a 7 and now an 8 (taken from a recent survey of my cerebral musical cortex ;-), I always appreciate the execution, sound and, once again, performance of all their songs... even starting with "Made In Japan," released in 2014 when I first became entranced with the Magical Maids. Thx, OMB!
Thank you, they are a great live band.
They do light and frothy in the same way they do their heavier sound. They do dance numbers in the same way they do complicated rock music. They just make it all sound great and fun to listen to. Plus there is always a line or more that sticks with you all day. Well all year. I love their albums as well as watching the live performances. As usual they make a dull day a happy one. Great reaction as usual. While the rest of the World does its thing Band Maid make it all worth it.

The sound is a bit different but still Band Maid. Great bands never stand still. What helps is they all input to the music of every song. Pretty sure Saiki still has the "We're Done" call in the studio.

With each song, they shake up our preconceived ideas about rock. Is Magie a rock song? Absolutely. Like Bestie, like Balance and all the songs they compose are a little out of their usual zone. They give themselves no limits, which gives their music such a unique and fascinating richness. God, what a rock band! Thank you Mr B.

Old Mr. Bill, I'm glad you were sitting when you reacted to the video of "Magie". I made the mistake of standing while viewing the video. I unconsciously started moving and dancing my 75 year old butt around like an idiot or maniac (sorry, Maidiac). My reaction to the video is now "Ow, ow, ow!". My back hurts, my knees, even my neck now hurts, so I'm going to have to take some pain meds, go soak in a hot tub, and go to bed early. They should warning label on this video stating, "Caution, standing while viewing may be hazardous to your health".
