We lost my uncle who lived in Leyton in 2021. I used to visit him every Sunday before the pandemic getting on the Victoria line and exiting at Walthamstow Central and getting a bus to the garage which was literally on the next road to where he lived. This video made me smile and cry at the same time because whenever I hear about or see Walthamstow Central I always think of him. This video brings back so many memories, even though watching it breaks my heart.

I remember before the new bus station was formed, at that time the buses would turn around half way down selbourne road, it was a no through road at that time.

I drive buses now. I can remember all of these from when I was a kid. What a difference 25 or so years make. My goodness. The 2 bus? Can't remember where that went to

The Grey Green Volvo B10M citybuses were a great bus to drive I drove them mainly on the 24's they by then were painted red and was under Arriva livery the former Grey Green side of Arriva was a great company to work for good driver and good supportive staff of manager's and supervisor's

Hardly any London Transport red but those Thamesway buses which I think might have been a Greater London subdivision of Eastern National had a small LT symbol on the side.

Hi There again my name is Mr Cannadine T.
