Thats a SpotFly nest at 7:45 & one singing when you filmed the ducklings. Wonder if the bairns have grabbed the Swalla nest to try & look in it ? Just think if theyd knocked it off delibarately then the cup would be broken ??? I was in there on Friday - another Swalla with chicks but have put the grounded Swallas nest up on top of one of the junction boxes - have had a few Spotties nest in old Swallows last couple year. Nice finds with the creeper & finch. Theres likely a Spotty in the old bunt buildings as there was a fledged family on Friday 7th - plenty time for them to go again... somewhere... Two nests in that main wood you walked through have been done - most likely Grey Squirrel given the nest locations.
Fantastic scenes love a gawldie n treecreepers lads ,some swallow n house martins have been falling cos of dry mud while building possible or kids puggied it poor things .well done

That goldfinch was a little beauty.
What a shame about the swallow, pity they just couldn't leave it alone.👍
nice to see kids with an interest in getting out & about even if outcome is disappointing.
Hi , are you not posting any nesting videos this year lads?
