    This is crazy, learning so much about the Grid. May I challenge you to recreate Abletons Looper Device in Bitwig?

    You are arguably my fav youtuber for bitwig content. This multi fx sequencer is absolutely sick!

    Another approach I like is to add Steps modulators, hit the dice button, and use that to modulate the mix knobs (or whatever). That way it's not just on/off.

      Nice! Adding randomness to the sequences is always good

    This is super dope, thank you for sharing your process with us!
    This is really innovative and I can see it turning into something waaay more powerful than Infiltrator 2 and that's really saying something.
    Thank you again for all of your videos, they are all inspirational.

      Thank you so much! It becomes even more powerful if you consider you can easily add and modulate third party effects. Not only that, the only limitation for the amount of effects is your CPU.

    Hi dude! Your content is awesome! You definitely deserve more views and subs.
    So, got Bitwig 8-track because I was just curious about this DAW.
    I am more the Cubase guy...
    Is there a free alternative to Infiltratior 2 ? I also thought of using a sequencer and then convert the notes to CCs, but...
    This thing I crazy, bit for hobby musician... A bit expensive.

      Thanks! This one is pretty similar, but more close to effectrix www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/53-Multi-Effect-/9702-TuGlicento-2 , still is pretty amazing

    It always starts with the grid or patcher, or whatever equivalent a persons daw has, but its just a matter of time before you have a wall of modular gear making generative fart noises and atonal screeching

    • @AlexReidStudios
      @AlexReidStudios  Год назад

      I already have two semi modular synths and I'm starting to think "what if I pair this with this module?"

      @@AlexReidStudios its a deep rabbit hole to go down, but you will feel right at home, im certain

      @@GillamtheGreatest I still prefer to save money for a big analog polysynth like the Polybrute. But who knows

      @GillamtheGreatest Год назад +1

      @@AlexReidStudios Polybrutes are nice. one of my friends has one. great choice, and in that price range i think the only other new synth you might consider is the summit, but they really arent that similar.

      @@GillamtheGreatest Fun thing is, I will probably spend $3,000 on a polysynth just to make filter sweeps

    Cool, but hopefully Bitwig gives us a proper easy to use step sequencer device with all the bells and whistles.

    Looks amazing.
    It's sad the sequencers in the grid don't have randomize trigger in port. Imagine if we could randomize all sequences with one click.

    • @AlexReidStudios
      @AlexReidStudios  Год назад

      That'd be amazing

    • @zwippie123

      I often think the same. Then I tend to think the Bitwig developers left it out on purpose. Which has its merits. But since we're on the brink of some kind of (creative?) AI revolution, not supporting the automation of a randomize button feels kind of different now. IDK.

    • @pbrninja19
      @pbrninja19 Год назад +1

      The grid Steps module now has a dice button if you open the big display. I still don't think this is convenient enough, but it's something.

      You can achieve the same result by replacing the step-based devices (Gates, Steps, etc.) with a single Dice or Chance, and triggering it whenever required. (And add Lag or Average to smooth out the transitions if needed)
