I don’t know about including Midsommar (even Hereditary might make more sense), but I have thought that The VVitch and the Suspiria remake existing in the same universe makes sense (also makes a good double feature).

Let's remember: Mother of Tears isn't just the one who cry and make feel pain, but it's a cult based in witches (women) and a the most cruel of sisters, Hereditary it was a perfect movie: revive an old entity, about ruined relationships, most dark emotions....

Argento introduced this idea at the beginning of Inferno, and even if it's not a bad movie, at the end it felt like he did his best to make it seem lame. it was just too campy to be a sequel to Suspiria, and the ending sucked. it's funny that his actual trilogy doesn't really work but this video about three movies that are not connected make the myth of the three Mothers much more interesting.

@@serpentinefire921 😄 I know. And I love those movies. I only meant that Inferno seemed too different than Suspiria to be considered a sequel to it, they just don't belong together. Also it wasn't even half as good, although I liked most of it.
