- If I showed all of the Tales of Vesperia clips saved on the new micro SD card of my switch that I got from 15+ hours of gameplay, we would be here all day. But I'll likely make more in the future, even showing the ones early game I haven't shown off yet because this game is a fucking gold mine when it comes to character interactions.

Judith is the "i don't mind if you admire my body" type. Normally , you have the Shy protagonist or the "the mission Comes first" stoic type of hero to react to this.

Stelledair Update: I got Tales of Vesperia on June 5. I’m still playing and I’m in love with the game!
My first Play through took about 50 hours
The Roblox Bros I beat the game in February, Symphonia in April, and Abyss on May 2.

It's unfortunate they didn't get the old voice back for Yuri's new lines, but I think the new one does his best.
Apparently he was available. He's said in the past Yuri was his favorite role he's ever played and he was shocked that he wasn't approached to do the Definitive Edition.

@@kenja0685 I think the Voice Director probably didn't realize Troy Baker had come back doing Anime and Game Voice Overs again since Troy Baker had been busy working in non-Anime and non-Japanese video games since 2012 that he got some his roles replaced back then and he did let Matthew Mercer voice some of his roles such as Kanji from Persona 4, Oliver from Trials of Steel series, Yamato and Pain from Naruto Shippuden, etc. for example.
Matthew Kelly true, but they should have at least contacted him about if he would like to have done the new voice lines. All the other cast were contacted about the new voice lines.
@@DigiPen92 more likely it was the fact he was part of the voice actors union and after the pay strike and other nonsense, Namco just decided to not get involved with union VAs.
I wish i could forget about this game and play it again. Some memories i have from 2009 and my 360.

Luke might be annoying at first, but he genuinely has some of the greatest character development in video game history.

A Non-SquEnix protagonist who is neither Mute nor an idiot. Nor one-note. Amazing.
He was so badass they straight up reused his Mystic art for the nobody final boss of Berseria.
Tales Series has some great protagonists. Luke from Abyss and Senel from Legendia go through massive amounts of character development. Yuri is definitely the funniest one though lol.

Ah Patty, the girl that caused the Kotaku comments section to explode. There was this one screenshot of Patty doing a flying headbutt in battle and the comments section exploded with accusations of CP and Pedophilia. By the time the PS3 version actually came out everybody already knew that part of Patty's ensemble is a pair of shorts, but Kotaku loyalists were so quick to jump to anti-Japanese racism anyways.

@@zenossaki Same. I just don't get why so many people like her. Just because she is a girl? I don't know...she is just too egoistic for me. Sure, in the begging I felt sorry for her because she is lost her brother, but after half plying the game... I just don't know. And yeah Yuri is defenatly much better character than her. @@anemokinesis main reason I like velvet is because because she was technically the antagonist and despite her being egotistic you do sympathize for in the later half of the game though she does makes some really bad descions
@@zenossaki I think while Velvet was okay and she did smile once in a while, the antagonistic and edge part of her were kinda overwhelming at a time. Yes, sometime the skits made her likable but other time, not so much with her decision and the dialogue of her vs. the bosses were too dramatic or cringe at a time. Yuri, on the other hand, was that interesting secret type of guy JRPG but never a protagonist type of guy. Funny enough, Yuri is like a combination of Jade, Zack and sometime Batman in one blender. What made Yuri so great as the protagonist was that the guy basically a mentor to the majority of the cast minus Raven, Judith and Flynn. He is also the guy who know shit 10 miles ahead of your current party thanks to his sneaky way at night. Not to mention his one liners are still hilarious. The guy did a lot of dirty works in front of and behind the scenes and prepare to face consequences. Surprisingly enough, I love how Yuri is the most improvised character that reflect both in his writing and gameplay since by raw power, he was not a chosen one or a powerful being by blood or from a noble family. He's just an adaptive fighter and get shit done.

Hey if we fight about character, I vote for Jade. I think in all Tales series he is the most interesting character and Yuri is close after him. But I might be bs though cause I still have 3 tales series in waiting to play. But really, it's hard to choose favorite among all these character. All of them is wonderful.
