Genuinely everything I see from EU5 makes me believe it's going to be a clear upgrade. Like every mechanic is more fleshed out than it was in eu4?? This is making me scared tbh, like it's paradox I'm fully expecting something big to be missing now cuz it can't be this perfect right? Cuz going off of these tinto talks this game seems like the second coming of Jesus.

I feel the same way. Its just too good to be true. The game looks very good soo far.

Considering they've talked about "countries" that don't own land, such as banking counties, that's what I'm assuming the Sapmi map at the end is, another kind of landless country. So maybe you have enough pops in any location (less than 1000), to have any formal control over it, but still are able to play somehow?

2:08 i wonder if they will implement an assimilation policy like the ones that Spain and Portugal had with the natives to boost this process?

My only worry so far throughout all of these tinto talks (mainly #14) is that I hope the historical railroading is optional, and that the simulation stands on its own and creates an interesting world. I don't want to fight the ottomans every single game, but sometimes eu4 seems like the game was built around certain set in stone events

@@dongh8er821 I'm pretty hopefull with it, it sounds like many of these systems are dynamic
