The thing about this video man... it's so immersive. Many backrooms videos feel the necessity to have a plot, but the chaotic nature of this video is so perfect. It's the amalgamation of the fear, the anxiety, the confusion, that backrooms are supposed to give us
Bro should go for the olympic track medal when he gets out, he sure knows how to leg it from normal walking speed to like Sports Car with Free Bird playing
I usually don't like "Backrooms" videos where a bunch of blatantly goofy stuff is going on, but in this particular case, SO much goofy stuff is going on, so many tropes are being hit, it's actually enjoyable.
JinzoCrash: Well, I don't know about you, but if you ask me, this is definitely one of the coolest "The Backrooms" shorts I've personally ever seen before. Oh, well... okay, I have to admit, that maybe this isn't the most traditional "The Backrooms" short. But still, it's very positively different and at least I enjoyed it from beginning to end, and I definitely look forward to more content from him, as well.
I've worked in hospitals almost all of my working life, and the older hospitals (usually the older ones) all had basements to transport patients from one building to another without having to go outside, especially in the winter or middle of the night. They were also used to take bodies to the morgue which was generally on that floor as well. Your corridors were so exceptionally well done, and they brought that horrifying experience to mind. I used to have to go into those tunnels all of the time and hated them. You caught that ambience perfectly. I loved this although it gave me major creeps.. Subscribing now. Thank you! AND Hallelujah!!! someone in one of these backroom creations with a flashlight. I realize that most people didn't intend to end up here and don't randomly carry flashlights, but it made ME feel safer - ha ha!
There’s certainly something to be said about the universal experience of walking through dark corridors alone! You might be interested in checking out a channel called bedtime stories. There are a number of videos about nurses sharing about their paranormal experiences they had while working in hospitals. Creepy and fascinating stories. Thanks for watching!
You have reality, then you have Back Rooms............what other "side" is there? Love the giant PacMan!!! Was that Dobby in the hospital section??? I'm starting to think there is no such thing as a real "exit" in crazy room land.
I'm speechless... Did you really used non euclidean spaces in your backrooms? That part with the corridors was simple outstanding. The perfect use of liminal spaces and some inspiration from Keny Pixels videos ( the neighborhood part ) is a great touch, I cannot image the amount of time and dedication you put on it, you deserve millions of views my friend
Top notch design, animation and FX. The textures and lighting are superior to most of the other backrooms videos. This was a fast pace ride! Hope to see more.
Just wow In the end the feeling of death as the soul has left the body and watching people trying to revive him is just phenomenal and scary at the same time!!
Wow. This is amazing. Completely blows away everything else in the Backrooms genre I have seen. The audio and visuals are just in a completely different league.
that was a really nice ending for a backrooms video, adds a whole other layer to the concept, really great stuff man i feel like you've been through some shit and this is the result of some hardship
This was pretty epic. Several very creative ideas, well-captured liminal atmosphere and excellent audio. And the framing plot is a cool idea: The Backrooms as a true liminal space between life and death.
Was just beautiful work! The story told of waking, confusion, fear, loss, and grief. Maybe our passing isn't so different. I congratulate you on a masterpiece of original work 👏🏼👏🏼
The first minute had me hooked...This is one of the better Backrooms films. I loved it! It starts off action packed and tapers off properly. The only thing I can critique is that lack of character emotions. I didn't feel that my emotions translated on the screen. A normal person would've freaked out and would have been breathing much harder. Also, they probably would be talking to themselves or thinking aloud, trying to rationalize what's happening. Missed opportunity: When the monster surprised after watching the cartoon, you should've screamed. It scared me. I can only image how afraid the character should've been, seeing it in real life.
This is the most impressive animation I have seen from the backrooms. The horror here is unsettling it gives me early 2000's ghost video vibes of a demon that had hands crawling from the floor and walls. It was like a 2010's or earlier youtube video. RUclips buried the video, but it was amazing.
thanks very much, it sounds like a scene from J-horror, maybe the original Japanese version of the Ring. Kairo has a spooky scene where they hired a ballet dancer to move in an unnatural way
These are one of my favorite backrooms videos. A perfect blend of scary and suspense. A lot more attention to the environment than anyone else. Great job 👍
This was very impressive- I enjoyed watching it. Great job with the quality, details, colors and pacing too. Well done !! I hope to see more backroom footage from your channel. ❤
I can't believe you made the simple scratching sounds in wood be such terrifying, nice job one this one, one of the TOP 10 Backrooms videos out there if u ask me
Very well done! The visual elements were very impressive, and the whole video had just the right feel of suspense and creepiness. Sound design was really good too.
This found footage has a few problems: The running speed abruptly increases at some points wacky transitions in between different areas entities around every corner no break from any entities; just every second is entities the concepts of the locations are quite cliche: abandoned hospital, level 0, run for your life type hallways etc. the vhs distortion thingy is looped paranormal shit happens in cliche moments entities also appear to be faster; one minute their quite far away, next minute theyre literally right behind them yk that spike scene? that guy looked like he woulda been stabbed, but he wasnt, how? the good things about this: the use of liminal space was quite good. took alot of inspiration from Kane Pixels, and i like it The concept of the actual location itself is ok-ish. great touch of detail on some parts Although I truly understand that you may not be a nessecarily good vfx artist, this was like a "not good" kind of attempt on making a found footage short film.

I am only at 4:50 & I am REALLY impressed by this! I've recently 'discovered' the Backrooms style films & enjoyed most of them. But this one really looks professionally done & the effort put into it is PHENOMENAL. Now, back to the film.....
Great job with the environments on this one. I generally find monsters in Backrooms videos to be very tedious, but your restraint kept it from being annoying. This is definitely one of the best ones I've seen, and the fact that you have a bit of a story going on is even better. Keep up the good work!
Seeing backrooms videos makes me realize how far 3D rendering software must have come, I'm guessing you just pull up a search for something like an arcade machine or a phonograph, pick one you like, and bam, it's in your scene
Great short film! Personally, the only Backrooms videos I've seen that surpass this are the original ones done by Kane Pixels. Nevetheless, this is an outstanding video, particularly the repeating hallways.
There is some that I would say capture the backrooms even better, but less in the very prevailent "creature" horror, which this video is one of the best ones I would say, and more in the conceptual level capturing the sheer desolation, isolation and emptiness of that place.
That...was...phenomenal!! Props to the creators of this, every infinite hallway, area, the arcade, was sooo beautiful and intensely suspenseful looking!
While there definitely is a good amount of goofy stuff, The beginning had me suspect to be dealing with the usual backrooms video, the hallways part? That was art. That was the single best use of a non eucleadian space in horror I have ever seen. The way it turned from an endless hallway to every hallway being the same to a complete breakdown of "reality"? That knocked it out of the park an i am stunned. The sheer creepyness of it had me honestly getting goosebumbs. For that part of this video I have nothing but admiration.
This was exquisitely unsettling. I get off on impossible architectures the way average people do pornography. It all goes back to my teens and early twenties, when I used to take ‘heroic’ doses of LSD multiple times per week , for nearly six years. Anyroad, you have generated the most compelling models of liminal and higher-dimensional spaces than any I’ve seen, especially in the cinematic medium . I’m a clever bloke, and I understand how most film effects are done, but some of the geometric structures you’ve established here admittedly baffle me-in the most satisfying way. I absolutely revel in it. I hope to see a feature film someday in a world of impossible geometries. I think if I were put in charge of adapting Lovecraft’s ‘At the Mountains Of Madness’ for film, I would put you in charge of designing the Old Ones’ lost city on the Antarctic plateau, beyond those first high mountains. I will be following your career with enthusiastic interest.
I’m going to have to give that lovecraft novella a read. Glad you enjoyed the hallway scene. There’s something to be said about cinema’s ability to capture the feeling of psychedelic experiences despite the limitations of the medium. Altered States, Enter the Void and of course 2001 are all wonderful films in this regard. Thanks for the wonderful feedback!
@@HaydenLee Don’t forget the brilliant ‘Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas’. I think you’ll enjoy ‘Mountains Of Madness’. I’m a Lovecraft fanatic; I love nearly everything he wrote. However, ‘Mountains Of Madness’ is probably the most realistic-feeling thing he’d ever written. My four favourite Lovecraft works are: ‘Mountains Of Madness’, ‘Colour Out Of Space’, ‘Dunwich Horror’, and ‘Case Of Charles Dexter Ward’. All of them both contain elements analogous to deep psychedelic experiences (I have been obsessed with cephalopods AND with the art of M.C. Escher, and with geometric peculiarities like Klein bottles, so it is no coincidence psychedelic states would evoke such imagery), and are just brilliantly thought-out stories. If you like audiobooks, the finest reader of Lovecraft online is a bloke named Ian Gordon; he hails from the same bit of England as I. He has narrated and recorded every last Love raft story on Earth, including some very rare collaborations of which I was stunned to find him aware. If you’d like to listen whilst commuting, or working on something mindless, that you may immerse yourself in the tales, just search ‘HorrorBabble’ and the name of the story. Alternatively, all the tales may be read online for free at several websites, if you prefer to take in the story via your eyeholes. Either way, I hope you find even a fraction of the pleasure I’ve found in his work-though I fear many of the tropes have become cliche’s via social media, and I lament you’ll never know the joy of discovering Lovecraft in the 90s, before everyone knew what, for example, Cthulhu was.
Thanks for the Ian Gordon recommendation. Just checked out some of his work. Great reader. I'll admit that I've only recently discovered the work of Lovecraft, but I can see now why his work is so timeless and necessary reading for horror aficionados!
The ONLY thing I have to say as constructive criticism is: maybe have hands touch door handles when they "reach out" and open a door. Lol Like, when it is the Backrooms/invisible entity opening their own doors, it makes sense to not see a hand, but when the camera moves as if someone is leaning in to turn the handle and the handle turns without a hand, it's a little jarring. Lol Otherwise, this is definitely one of the best out there!
This feels like a concept for a full AAA Backrooms game which I’m certain we will get beyond the steam titles. Thus is a nice change of pace from typical backrooms. Visuals are great, fast paced vs the slow draw and multiple environments all connected with corridors
Got this little film recommended to me. Always nice to see new backrooms content, even though it's been six months since you psted this. Better late than never I guess. Anyhow, you have really nailed the camera movement. Can't get better than this, the most realistic I've seen so far. 10 of 10. Also nice to see that you've taken certain liberties with this property and showing us more than the standard yellow setting. And 13.40 and onwards, talk about Escher-esque confusion. Well done! Keep up the good work! (Beacuse it's really good) =)
There’s something about the way the camera moves through this video. Compared to other first person perspective vids I’ve seen. This one has a Hardcore Henry feel to it. Well done. Look forward to seeing more.
I like how he is able to run 30 mph. That seems to be the way to survive entities in the Backrooms. And probably if I was there, I would get trapped for an eternity playing Street Fighter II. A very strange and amazing video with lots of symbolism to delve into!
That's what I call real art in everything my brother, well done. You made a masterpiece that made me live the other side that i never experienced, also I want to ask, did anyone feel like your brain want to scream while watching? 😲🔥
Best backrooms ever finally a plot and a story I wish everyone doing back rooms material would watch this and get some tips and pointers thank you so much for great content
This is a work of poetic sadness. With the realisation of no escape from an eternity of infinite corridors in an afterlife of corrupted memories, the little alien may be the only one able to calm the restless soul.
Bravo! This was really well done. A competent piece of filmcraft to say the least. If you're not already an established filmmaker, no doubt you will be soon. And I should say the same for whoever did the music for this film, as it was brilliantly executed. Very professional - I'm impressed with everything all around. Well done, thank you. Best of luck to you.. 👍
The first half with the hallways and arcade room looked like so many dreams I've had that I almost can't believe I'm watching this. The second half with hallways in the ceiling that defy gravity is just nightmare fuel. My liminal dreams are already a geometric mess.
8:33 Oh how I'd love to have that room! (Outside of the trap of the Backrooms, of course :) ) Just had to comment on that...love how its part of the 'you've been here before/encounter with the past' theme. Now, back to the film again............
This video is extremely underated man seriously... What a wonderful and epic projection of backrooms. I also wanted to make some backrooms short films like this and this is the perfect reference short film I wanted to see.. really appreciable 👏👏👏👏
This is a fever dream from hell. I dont think my mind could take this too long if I was stuck in it. Would've definitely stayed in that arcade section longer tho.
This was very good, with a very cool monster. I did think there were too many jump-cuts and too few transitions, though the latter were very well done.
I want an Infinite horror game as detailed as those found footage, and and feel the fear, the loneliness of the backrooms in a labyrinthic random mess, and lose my mind to it. in which you have thousands of different ways to escape the backrooms and even more not to escape them. Wandering for hours and hours in loops until one of a sudden you discover a new level, to finally end up into the level 999 of the first cluster, that tiny island lost in space.
You know you found something special when you need to watch a backrooms video multiple times to catch all the little details to appreciate it fully... i´m at a loss for words..
wtf dude that part in the re looping hallways where you see that it goes i all directions including up and down and the camera first shifts dimensions is wildly cool! i cant tell you how impressed i am visually and conceptually with the video. also why that ending have to be so sad! Wtf i dont even know whats happening or why its sad it just is!
I've really wanted to see something inspired by MC Escher in a backrooms video, and that was so cool. Really felt like a nightmare. I think I saw "The Scream" on a few walls? Kind of weird to call it found footage, especially with the last scene. IMO it felt very first person/POV, but I guess that's a hard trope to break.
good job on the motion matching, motion tracking, or what ever technique that is lol and sound! I'm gonna guess.... that you must own a dog. cause i swear, it sounds like a dog's nails walking on a hardwood or tile floor

This found footage has a few problems:
The running speed abruptly increases at some points
wacky transitions in between different areas
entities around every corner
no break from any entities; just every second is entities
the concepts of the locations are quite cliche: abandoned hospital, level 0, run for your life type hallways etc.
the vhs distortion thingy is looped
paranormal shit happens in cliche moments
entities also appear to be faster; one minute their quite far away, next minute theyre literally right behind them
yk that spike scene? that guy looked like he woulda been stabbed, but he wasnt, how?
the good things about this:
the use of liminal space was quite good.

Thank you very much
Very good indeed. The only thing that took me out of the immersion was the sometimes seemingly enormous/unnatural speed with which the recorder moved.
The first half with the hallways and arcade room looked like so many dreams I've had that I almost can't believe I'm watching this. The second half with hallways in the ceiling that defy gravity is just nightmare fuel. My liminal dreams are already a geometric mess.
Jungian synchronicities!
Looking forward to your film
6:20 that little alien is soo cute 😢
this stuff with the hallways is demented dude. some of the best work I've seen in the Backrooms.
This is a fever dream from hell. I dont think my mind could take this too long if I was stuck in it. Would've definitely stayed in that arcade section longer tho.
Me as well, it’s the only level I can take some measure of comfort in :)
That's a masterpiece! It has an original design for all different levels and actually has a story! One big like from me!
This is some of the best BR footage I've seen to date.
This video hilla underrated 💔
Great job bro🤝
This was very good, with a very cool monster. I did think there were too many jump-cuts and too few transitions, though the latter were very well done.
The part where the hallway loop was getting shorter and shorter. Just... *Chef's kiss* muwah 💋
This was strangely well done. The sets are top notch too.
I can’t even lie; when they were at the circuit breaker and that little head came outta nowhere… full on jolted and got the chills 😂👍🏼
Magnificent work!
This is the best backrooms video i've seen, good work.
And that is the only way you "exit" the Backrooms.
what a seriously great vision this video has, pretty awesome and mind bending
You know you found something special when you need to watch a backrooms video multiple times to catch all the little details to appreciate it fully...
i´m at a loss for words..
thank you very much for watching!
you got some skills with music, man. I can't tell if it's original or what, but it's fitting
wtf dude that part in the re looping hallways where you see that it goes i all directions including up and down and the camera first shifts dimensions is wildly cool! i cant tell you how impressed i am visually and conceptually with the video. also why that ending have to be so sad! Wtf i dont even know whats happening or why its sad it just is!
thank you!
song name btw at the end?

The realism and creepiness is on a whole other level of nightmarish proportions, which all come to an end by discovering the only way out of there...
This is among the best BR footage I've seen, and I've seen most of it!
out of all the versions of the backrooms, if i was going to play a version as a game, this looks like it would be the most interesting
This is not a video game, it's that the story, the graphics and everything is great, it should be a video game
great video!!!
holy fuck this great dude, the pacing, the timing, really great directing skills even though youre directing yourself probably
Yes! Good eye. Thanks for watching
This was actually pretty good....had some pretty good quick scares...the bug thing was impressive too....good job sude...😀👍👍👍
I just did a reaction video about this Backrooms video. It literally scared me to death!
VERY Well done, Hayden. 👍
I hope Hollywood calls you.
You're an outstanding artist. Don't get tired.
Is 200 symbolic? That's russian code for dead of killed in warfare.
good job on the motion matching, motion tracking, or what ever technique that is lol
and sound!
I'm gonna guess....
that you must own a dog.
cause i swear, it sounds like a dog's nails walking on a hardwood or tile floor
This is the best Backrooms vid i've ever seen. It's amazing and needs to go viral. 1.9 likes for 6 month? Unbelievable
That's actually very well made. 👏👏👌
Both visually and auditorily are superb... 👍👌
it must have millions of views... Why not? 🤔😕
... wow... more people need to see this!
