You and Me both. I hope you and your family are well, brother. Don't know if you've seen Justin's Kawasaki GPZ 900 Ninja with a Turbo on it or not, but that is one sick and very gorgeous fast bike.
@@sonnyseabury4051 Hey brother, I did see it, sick! My older brother had a GPZ 550 he bought new when they came out, it was a silver one. He used to give me rides on it when I was 10, always loved all the GPZ'S.
I bought the 84 a year before I got OUT of the army lol ..rode it with my buddies in Columbia SC. Summer of 85. What alot of memories this brings. Such a great hi quality bike. I remember how good this was to this day. Still looks incredible
It's commendable how you always have the most beautiful and mint condition bikes go through Kaplan Cycles. The museum takes BADASS to a whole new level, too!
There DEFINITELY was something magical about those bikes!!! My buddy had the 750 than later the 550… I had a 500 interceptor at that time…then got an 86 Ninja600R… Truly having the best time of our lives!!!!😇🤙🏽
So Beautiful, great line of bikes.1981 to 1985 is my favorite era. GPz was the choice bike to have, Seca & GS were nearly as good, but not quite. Ninja 600, FZ600, GSXR were still in Santa's workshop.
From an era when Kawasaki sportbikes had voluptuous curves. Those GPz's absolutely rocked too. Now, if they could just make their retro Z900 look like this.....!
I had the 1100 with the DFI system by today's standard it was a elephant extremely long and heavy but beautiful and graceful than came the gpz 900 and changed everything but I kept riding it did some mods to and it would hold itself. I still miss it.
🤩🇺🇸👍⚖️👁️👁️⚖️ Now think of the stocker...Silver 84...Kehien CR Racing carbs...Vance and Hines pipe. My retirement project, crashed once...original owner at 21 ... in mothballs since 1995! 🤩🇯🇵🏁 Still have original carbs. Bought new while in Navy! Rode Long Island to Pasagoula Mississippi with full sea bag! Great bikes!! Becoming very rare!!!
The GPZ's were the better looking Kawasaki of the era. The KZ's were styled more like a cruiser in the 80's. The GPZ family picked up the old classic look that the KZ deviated from and carried it onward
That is one fucking gorgeous classic musclebike..I'd take that bike in a heartbeat lol, although Justin's Kawasaki GPZ 900 Ninja, with the Turbo on it....I freaking Looooooove! ❤❤.....I would put Kerkers on Her!
I worked for Kawasaki around this time you won't lose buying this bike . It's fast , solid and even makes a great sport tourer . PK
I wish Kawi would remake the GPZ"S, great bikes.
Had my GPZ1100 in Florida, definitely could use liquid cooling.

Brings back memories building these gpz when working for kawasaki bristol in the uk.what a beautiful machine.
A friend of mine at 15 had the GPZ 305.
He was a huge guy and rode that thing like crazy.
Those bikes were fantastic.
Stunning looking engine in the gpz models
I love this sound!!! ALL Stock ...
The best thing about the older bikes is the seats are SO much better~ especially for the passenger.
70s and 80s bikes are awesome great times for riding.
First bike of my own, 1977 Honda XR-75 I was 10. 👍 still riding
I owned a GPz750, very similar if not the same year, lovely thing!

Have to agree on the cool 80's for desirable bikes. My 83 GS750E was a member in that class.
Absolutely beautiful machine for its age. I love the futuristic retro amazing history on it. Thank you for your service sir Gold chain double D's
Lovely bike. Had a 550 version, never missed a beat

My mom rode a kaw 750 until she was 60. Laid it over at Sturgis. Broke her ankle ) She was a tough lady ))

Not a kawi fan but it's a neat bike for sure!.
