Starting to setup the Serdi 3

First attempt at balancing the Serdi 3 seat and guide machine.
Ive replaced some of the air lines and started to play around with balancing the machine. It’s apparent that it’s not the precise with a bowed top surface. Although I’m very much getting the vibe it doesn’t matter about the main head as long as it travels. It’s the small sphere cylinder and the spindle that need to float perfectly.
I’m waiting for the service parts to arrive so I can then dial things in a little better.
I’ve also quietened down the air system considerably with foam. It’s honestly so loud especially as the workshop isn’t noisy unless it raining. With the foam it hasn’t reduced its ability to dump air to create the vacuum so there is no downside to having it quiet.
Nothing more with the Serdi 2 at this time as it’s all down to parts.
