#17 Atonal Industrial IDM w/ Digitakt & Nord Rack 2
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2024
- A live improv with an abrasive industrial edge, focusing on a single note driven from the Digitakt to the Nord Rack 2, providing evolution to it over time on the fly while the former builds to a more concrete rhythm after having started from a very broken/cut-up realm of percussions. At times life is evil, and you need a fitting soundtrack for it, so here you go.
Equipment used:
Elektron Digitakt
Clavia Nord Rack 2

Do you need synth of percussive performances for your works, soundtracking, scoring, really anything of the sort regardless of style or genre? Contact me with your proposal at resonanthouse@gmail.com
Nord Rack is a dream piece of kit, way to put it to use!
Hell Yeahhhh
Nice, would enjoy some nice slow filter movement on the nord if you have one spare 😎
Proper bang on those drums. Subbed.
Amazing man, made me started using my Nord Rack 2 again :)
NIce!!
Very cool! I am a bit embarrassed to admit I was expecting some Schoenberg influenced twelve tone compositions, with thrumming bass and distorted glitched out drums, though.
@@RaccoonEatingCacti I'd be out of line saying that I'd be implementing things _actually_ based on wider academic concepts - however glitchy drums and thrumming bass are my forte. You may expect stuff in that vein going forward (in case the earlier bruk/breakbeat things don't quite scratch that itch).
@@resonanthousemusic Just to clarify, I enjoyed this quite a bit and as a glitchy drum (etc) enjoyer, I was fully engaged.
@@RaccoonEatingCacti Thank you!
Really like the drum sample implementation and sequence.
This really does build so well omg 🤌🏻
I love it
très intéressant
Definitely a slow build up but very worthwhile.
I'd have loved to read more text about what you're doing here
@@MartinPool Thanks!
What exactly would you like to know? I can definitely elaborate on everything, and it'd be helpful to get some external thoughts on what could be considered as key info, so that I could begin to implement on the bios going forward (or backward, too).
@@resonanthousemusic I've seen some videos where they have a little bit of overland text describing what they're bringing in or changing as the track goes on. Like maybe that you're bringing up a new track with the snares, increasing an LFO on the rack, maybe something about what midi the DT is sending to the rack...
@@MartinPool Alright, thank you! That's definitely something I'd be interested in doing, would just require a little different form factor from the "live improv" idea (since these aren't planned as such). However, I will expand my videos to different types/more in-depth ones, focusing on certain aspects of the gear I have and such, so all ideas are very much welcome.
nice beat!
Are the drums samples or presets on the DT?
@@JohnCameron-sx8de The drums are one-shot samples that I built the beats with.
Nice! Have you tried using the percussion mode on the nord and sequencing it with your digitakt?
@@Garnassium I've only tested the waters on that front, but shall dive in deeper. Thanks for the idea!
