I don't care for the 2 suspects who were shot and killed at the end, I just hope that officer that went under the Camry is ok, that looked brutal.
Dude, that's what I was thinking after the shooting stopped. The driver chose their destiny by driving like that with guns drawn and officers so close. I said I hope the officer is ok. Then I said, well, they're dead.
Other people are saying minor injuries to his lower legs and hell make a full recovery

Police told investigators they could hear the passenger telling the driver to “go.” That is when the driver took off again, ran over one officer and six police officers brought the chase to an end. Investigators found a .22 caliber rifle and crack cocaine in the couple’s car. Officers later learned that the suspects’ vehicle was taken from a 72-year-old woman in a carjacking on Dec. 16, 2018, in South Carolina. The two suspects were also being investigated in South Carolina for unrelated criminal offenses at a liquor store and a jewelry store. Both suspects were wanted for shoplifting in South Carolina at the time of the incident.

But it's really hard under that circumstance to be Carlos Hathcock with a pistol, a moving vehicle, watching a buddy almost die, and a heart rate of 140 BPM. Unfortunately, due to the company he kept, he lost his life. He was a victim of her actions but at the same time why hang out with someone you know that does that stuff. Also, at no point did he try to turn that car off, put it in neutral, or knock her the hell out. All stuff I'd be doing if I happen to be in that situation and didn't know the person was like that or if they didn't have me at gun point. He could have done more to save himself.
I'm impressed by the endless stream of cop cars that come from every street, they dont play.
The teamwork the police demonstrated in this video is impressive. I just feel bad that one of them got hurt.

They showed remarkable restraint throughout the pursuit and used the least amount of force possible--it looked like they were just waiting the driver out until they made a mistake that hopefully didn't hurt anyone else. I think they all did a commendable job and hope any lawsuits resulting from this are shot down much quicker than the perps.

I would have jumped out of the car tbh. There where multiple times he could have jumped out with little damage. He had to eventually realise they were probably going to shoot the driver ultimately killing him also.

Since the car was not an imminent threat to the officers up until the moment is started moving forwards just before running the office over, shooting them any time before that could lead to an unjust murder case. Remember, as an officer, deadly force should always be a last resort. I commend all of them for their trigger discipline and patience, attempting to exhaust all means necessary to stop the driver.

UPDATE: I looked into it, and apparently the officer suffered severe injury to his legs, which required several surgeries to repair. Despite the ordeal, he's recovering well! Thank God!

@ I can understand why they wouldn't want to believe their family members and close friends would be capable of this stuff. It's natural to not want to believe this stuff at first unless you witness it first-hand. Looking at social media pictures of these two isn't the same as looking at Sean Reed's social media pictures, so it makes sense to not believe this shit happened, and you want to.
The media never presents these situations well and unbiased, and usually frames it as either hardcore bootlicking, or "He DiDnT dO nUtHiN wRoNg".
That being said, if the families continues to deny the truth even after seeing this type of evidence, then the families are living in their own reality.
ETA: not defending these two, they signed their own death sentences after running over that cop; just trying to understand the complexities of grief as much as we try to understand the base instincts of police training. I hope the families can find some sort of peace after this crappy situation.

The police gave this driver more than adequate opportunity to stop before the application of deadly force.
In my opinion, 11:20 should have been the key moment to open fire on the car to help disable it and hopefully stop the threat.

Police officers have to be certified in PIT maneuvering before they can attempt it. If they were to perform the maneuver without the proper training and create damages/kill someone they would be demolished in court. Also, the car has to be outfitted with the proper guards on it so as to not wreck the police car. Usually PIT training is expensive and not every department can send all or any of their officers.
The families don't understand why they were killed...

@@embuscadaverdadeelivrepens1550 I've noticed a trend on this channel of cops putting themselves in front of an out of control suspect's vehicle. I haven't worked out why. Theories range from "whoops" to attempt to justify killing them. In any case, they shouldn't do it. The whole fender was ripped off and the wheel was turned hard to the right, and he managed the find the most dangerous place in the whole situation to be and just jumped into it. If you play it at 0.25x speed, It's irritating how stupid that was.

There's always the bright side of things like they didn't even get arrested or have to go to jail.
I've watched this several times. Watch carefully, by 11:20 the gig was up. Yet, the driver (and her accomplice) escaped only to be pinned between two cars at 11:38. To continue from this point was futile as the officers were breaking the windows. But, the driver once more backed up, taking an officer holding on the the vehicle and ramming a police vehicle. At the final moment of her life, this 22 year-old woman chose to die, driving the car forward at 11:52, with multiple police officers pointing guns at her. Both died inside the stolen vehicle.
11:54 Ran over by the suspect's vehicle and pinned down in friendly fire. What a day for that officer.
1 the police did there job , a officer was run over causing them to open fire at the suspects, 2. The car with the camra at the time was unoccupied because the cop gets out Duh, and 3 i support all officers and there decision to open fire which probably saved that officers life

I like how the hands finally come up after the pigs shoot & kill the driver. This was so insane! I can't believe the cops didn't shoot earlier! The evil monsters in that car gave zero fucks about their lives or anyone else's! They completely ran over that one cop's legs!
Correct. They should have fired much earlier. However, I can understand the hesitation given the lame-stream media and black leaders who will crucify the police no matter what.
