I am thinking about starting with lights journey this year and I came across on some of your videos and now I started watching all of them from your beginning. Your videos are amazing for a beginners like myself and I like that I am close to 36 and learning from a 13 year old kid (at the time of making those videos). Did any of those companies gave you a sponsored you in any way because you deserve it? Looking forward to see your 2024 light show.
Thank you so much! I'm glad all the videos have been useful for you! Yes, I have technically been sponsored you could say by Falcon Controllers because they sent that F-Prop to me for free to make this video for it. I've also had a few other companies not related directly to light shows, but have products in similar spaces reach out to me. They've offered to send me some things to make videos about, and I may be taking some of those opportunities soon.
I loaded my test sequence and now i want to load a different sequence. how do i remove the test sequence? it keeps playing the test sequence even though i deleted the SD card and reloaded the new file saying I want it to play the new sequence. thanks!
It would work, but you'd be starting to push the limits of it since you can only run 2,048 pixels total, and 1,024 per port. You would only be able to use 20 FPS sequences since there's so many pixels on each port, and there would be no room for expanding. If this is the only thing you ever plan on using in the show, and don't want to expand, then I'd say it would work if you don't mind an overall simple show. But if you want to customize it more and get more hands on, I'd recommend getting an actual controller.
It seems painful to check out all those possible effects since you have to generate a file, download it, put it in the machine start it up, trigger to see the effects, then repeat forever just to see what all those effects are. They should definitely have examples of them on the website.
Yes I do agree with that, but I also forgot to mention these are WLED effects that were taken and implemented into the board. So you can go to the WLED website and search for the name of the effect and it should look the same as the example shown there. Here's the link if you want to check it out kno.wled.ge/features/effects/
Thank you bud, i will try it to mine!
Thank you. I purchased one for my Tune-To sign and wasn't sure how to set the start channels. You sure made it easy using the F4V3. Thank you again.
Nice video no bs just the facts, I love it.
I will add a dummy F-Prop controller in the next xLights release which will only have the 2 ports.
Awesome! That'll make it a lot less confusing I'm sure for most people, thanks!
f-Prop controller is now available - Thanks @keithwestley
Thanks Nicholas, great and very detailed video 👌
Awesome vid, Thank you!
Nice, thank you.

How do i know what board i have? Its several years old bought from lightoroma?
do you have a video on running or hooking up 2 rasbery pi to the fpp
You mean like in master and remote mode? Currently, I do not have a video on that but it is in my idea book so hopefully soon I will have one!

Hi, can you do a video review on the PiCap V2 I was thinking of using this to create a smaller set up with this controller, cheers
Perhaps, maybe sometime in the future I can.
I just ordered one. I've got a cool project I'm working on and this can't arrive soon enough.
Hy! If i want to make a standalone megatree with 1800-2000 pixels, is it good for my project?

10/25 xLights now has the F-Prop controller in the Vendor option box.
Yes I saw that! Keith Westly actually commented on this video to let me know he'd be adding something so it's easier to set up.
Can you help me?
What do you need help with?

Nice video, but never put anything around your neck! You're 1 trip away from ☠ I know it seems far-fetched, it happens. Be careful!
