Yes you are right. This is recommended for condos and landed properties with no gates to block the view for faster access or without the need to use your hands when they are full. If there’s a gate, we recommend going for eazea eyeon-g (watch our other video) which is mounted on the gate and sync with the door when unlocking 😉

Kaadas doesn’t have smart home though. All Aqara doorlocks have zigbee
All useless feature as the gate would invalidate the use of this which is for the main door
